The faces are really well done. What's the intended end result of these?

@ Kylor: If you mean the top "thing" on the guy on the right, a gaudy belt buckle. If you mean the bottom "thing," a belt buckle full of teeth. Om nom nom.
@ Shark: this week we're picking one of the three to render out just like last time, then we'll pick one of the two rendered characters to do a turn-around for, and towards the end we'll be working on environment concepts.

Just like last time, here's a work in progress shot of the rendering. This time I'm rushing a wee bit, but that's because this guy has SO MUCH CRAP ON HIM OH GOD WHY. I should have refrained from putting drapery on any of my character designs.

PONIES.
Despite all the difficulty with the drapery, I think it fits him. It almost gives him a gender neutral kind of feel, which really works for characters who are supposed to be frightening. I'm not sure if that was what you were aiming for but I could definitely see a character like this in an adventure/horror video game.

It's a huge ego boost to see that someone gets it!

I like the really dark red, meshes well with the background.

If I was being sarcastic, you'd be able to tell.

Not actually school stuff, but technically done while in school so...yeah. I got really bored in my Heads and Hands class (where we draw--get this--heads and hands!) so I started doodling, and by doodling I mean I spent a good two hours drawing Grand Path related things. First up is a (NSFW and) TOTALLY SPOILERIFIC drawing of Tock. To be nice I also cropped it down to a less spoilery and safe for virgin eyes version as well. After that I drew a doodle of Quinn and his outfit of many coats. And finally I drew some actual doodles, two of which were still Grand Path related anyway. One is how I imagine the little Watcher clocks look, and the other is what Tomohawk looks like in my mind because I am a silly silly person. That thing in the corner is irrelevant. Please excuse the shitty quality, I have no scanner nearby so I took these all with my camera.

Teeth Movie Crotch Teeth scares me. I mean this as a compliment. I hope you get a good grade on it.
DAT TOCK. Gosh, I really want to look at the spoiler image but I'm really antzy about that kind of stuff. I'll wait for later posts and then come back for the goodness.
AND CANTI. YOU CANNOT HIDE FROM ME.
