Randy’L had still been thinking vary hard about how to help her friends, but was so far coming up blank since the only pokemon that she had with her was Togepi, who was not capable of putting up much resistance against the powerful Slowking, at least not directly. It then seemed like Slowking figured out what Togepi was doing, and launched an attack against her. Instinctively, Randy’L turned, prepared to use herself as a human shield for her pokemon, but Aiko beat her to the punch, and intercepted the attack herself.
Looking on as the glowing orb hit the small, black foxlike Pokemon, Randy’L winced, before turning towards Gray, “Thank you. I’ll give Aiko a Super Potion treatment after this is over.” She said, trying to offer Gray some form of payment for his pokemon’s protection of her.
Togepi meanwhile, was trying its best to just focus very hard on what it was doing, leaving its protection up to Randy’L, who seemed to have it covered pretty well anyways. As for a brief moment Togepi saw through the illusion a bit, she took in the sight she had just seen, and with this newfound knowledge, raised up her small stubby arm and focused her energy into it, causing it to glow in a wide array of colors, although mainly green.
Then, pointing her arm at Slowking, she shot out a fairly powerful Signal Beam at him, this being the best offensive attack she could use in these circumstances. Her eyes were also still glowing blue as well, and as her beam would near the Slowking, a sudden and very strong gust of wind with a faint blue hue to it would blow across the field, with the majority of its intensity focused onto the Slowking. As it blew, any stray items littered across the field would be picked up and carried by it to become projectiles that could potentially cause the Slowking quite a bit of damage. --------------------------------- Inside the Rocket Base, Thrym was still trying to escape by using Dig, but due to the hardness of the floor, was having some difficulty boring through it. Then Lo’s Murkrow launched a Night Shade attack, a move which would strike Thrym with power that would vary depending on the Murkrow’s own level of development.
Coming in the form of black lightning, the Night Shade was shot out at Thrym, and indeed hit him, as he didn’t have much of any means of dodging it in the first place considering his condition. Still, although he shuddered as the lightning struck him, singing his fur, he simply fought through it and continued digging. If Lo had thought her attack through a little more, she might have been able to figure out why he was able to withstand it.
Thrym hadn’t actually been hit very much at all during this whole conflict, the only damage had taken coming from when he got in the way of Swampert’s Earthquake. He was extremely fatigued though due to his prolonged use of Superpower, which meant that his defense against physical attacks was extremely low, but Night Shade was an energy attack, and wouldn’t take advantage of his weakened state like a physical move would.
And so, Thrym finished digging through the floor, and finally began digging down into whatever laid beneath it, but as he did, the net which had snagged his leg caught him again, and so Thrym just kind of kicked it a few times before the snag undid itself. Then, Thrym simply dug down a little more, or if there was a lower level or perhaps some kind of separating space beneath the floor, would simply climb into it and try and use it as a resting spot so that he could catch his breath before having to move on. --------------------------------- Finally, climbing out of the hole after making his way through the tunnel unopposed, Randy’L’s Timburr, Atlas arrived. Being a Timburr, Atlas was notable among Randy’L’s Pokemon in that he was the only one of them who was of a species native to her home region of Unova. This would perhaps make him a target for the Rockets, especially since his final evolved form, Conceldurr, was one of the strongest non-legendary Fighting-type pokemon in existence. This seemed to be a pattern with Randy’L’s pokemon, all of them belonging to species who, when fully evolved were extremely powerful, to the point of being among the strongest in their Types. What her fourth Pokemon, the one who was currently an Egg that sat in its incubator back at the ruins of the Pokemon Center would turn out to be, was yet to be seen, but it would likely continue this pattern as well.
Atlas too had fallen into the illusion after emerging from the hole, seeing the field of flowers, but also his comrades, including his trainer Randy’L. Walking up to her, he tugged on her leg, to which she looked down at him and smiled, “Good to see you’re finally here…Now that you are, everybody, listen! While Gray is fighting Slowking, I’ll lead you guys out of here. Hope here” she said, motioning with an affectionate pat to the small pokemon in her hands, “has signaled me that she’s seen through this illusion, so she can lead us out of here…Gray can handle Slowking, so let’s get going while we have the chance.”
She then looked down at Atlas, “Get out in front of us and be ready to use your Wide Guard to protect us if Slowking tries anything, got it?” Atlas nodded, and then moved out in front of Randy’l, who herself was moving towards the front of their group. Holding out his log, Atlas was ready to use his defensive technique Wide Guard in case Slowking tried to attack them while they were escaping.
OOC: Sorry guys on being so late. I’ve had stuff going on in RL. Now, my basic interpretation of how Future Sight works is that the technique grants the user precognition for a short period of time, but also allows them to foresee a “disaster” of some kind in the near future. Depending on their environment this could take a number of forms, whether it be a tall structure failing and falling onto the opponent or some random natural phenomena, such a straight-line wind like I’ve done here.

Delric had moved Annabeth out of the direct fight path, trying to comfort her while the others fought against Slowking.
"It'll be okay," he said to her, trying to sound confident. "They're strong! They can defeat him!"
Annabeth was still crying, her nose bleeding. "I-I really hope s--" Annabeth then froze, and turned her head to the right. Delric looked up but just saw the empty field illusion.
"What is it?" asked Delric.
"Something bad is about to happen." Her voice was empty and weak.
---
The Slowking saw two attacks heading straight his way. First was Aiko who was using Quick Attack. That would arrive first, followed by Hope's Signal Beam. If he could counter Quick Attack, he should be able to handle Signal Beam a well.
However, there was one thing he didn't see coming.
Out of nowhere, Jonathan showed up, slamming into the side of Slowking. It was enough to cause him to falter, falling to his side. He lifted up his arms to try and still block Aiko's Quick Attack, but there was no chance.
The Quick Attack hit him head on, causing him to fall backwards. In mid air, Hope's attack hit as well: Signal Beam. Somehow, the Signal Beam was able to pick up objects located outside the illusion, like parts of buildings and Team Rocket Vehicles, all of which went flying and slamming into the Slowking.
"Who the heck are you?" asked Delric towards Jonathan as the Slowking was getting barraged by the other attacks. He felt like he might have seen him back on the surface, but he wasn't sure. But whoever he was, he just saved the day.
As the dust cleared around the Slowking, it was shown he was down on the ground. However, a moment later, he began to stand back up. As he did though, the illusion vanished, revealing to all the trainers they were just outside the main HQ of the Team Rocket base.
"It isn't the end," muttered the Slowking, taking a few steps back. "It's about to start."
Then, suddenly, a Dugtrio popped up behind Slowking and then they both vanished into the ground.
---
Lo was surprised to see the Swinub survive it's Murkrow's attack, as it went into the ground. She shrugged, ignoring it. "Even so, he isn't strong," she said. She then called out to the other Team Rocket members: "Stay on guard all of you! I want that Swinub if it shows up again! And watch out for any other trainers around here!"
She then spun around, calling her Murkrow back, and started upstairs.
---
Inside the lab of the Team Rocket HQ, the mysterious man listened carefully to what Lucas had to say. He didn't know of the Riolu's origin, so it was interesting to hear.
However, as the conversation continued, he became more and more concerned. Finally, his greatest fear materialized before him as Lucas called out his true Riolu, the other being an illusion.
Out of nowhere, the Riolu used a powerful Force Palm towards the two tanks, attempting to break them open and free the Pokemon. The first tank containing the fake Riolu broke open, releasing the Pokemon who'd instantly gain consciousness.
"NOOOO!" shouted the man. "You don't know what you're doing, Lucas! I won't let this happen!"
As quickly as he could, he slammed his fist down upon the button. The fake Riolu was spared since his freed, but the Salamance... wasn't so lucky.
The Force Palm didn't hit in time, and immediately, the Salamance began to change. It began thrashing gravely inside the tank, slamming its tail on the side, cracking the glass. Electricity shot out in all directions from the Pokemon. Then, its red and blue skin slowly began to change colors. The blue turned black, and the red changed to a deep purple color. Finally, its eyes shot open as it awoke, and they were glowing red.
"Yes, it's finished," chuckled the man, approaching the Pokemon as it trashed inside the tank. "Listen! You are now mine! You were once a Salamance. A weak, under trained one, owned by an incompetent owner, but now you're strong! Now you're my Dark Salamence!"
And in that moment, a huge explosion attack from the Salamence caused half of the HQ to blow into pieces, raining fire and rubble down on the scene below. It was so powerful it opened up a huge hole that led outside. As the smoke cleared, Lucas, along with all the trainers on the ground, would see this:
The man was standing on the back of the new Dark Salamence, steam pouring out of the Pokemon's mouth. Standing beside them was a Dugtrio, and on the other side, the Slowking.
"Lucas," said the man. "I will teach you you're lesson." He motioned over to the trainers on the ground. "Those are the people you abandoned. Now you're trying to tell me it was all part of your plan. I will not allow that."
The Salamence then began flapping its wings, causing them to hover in the air. "Watch as I destroy them all."
And with that, the Salamence went flying down towards the group. "Dragon Breath!"
A huge beam of multicolors went flying out of the Salamence's mouth, causing a shockwave as it did that shook all the buildings around. The attack was heading straight for the group below.
Up in the rubble of the base, the Dugtrio dug its way down, heading somewhere else. However, the Slowking stayed, standing across from Lucas.
"You're friends denied my Master's help as well," it said. "I wish you had made a different decision. Now you're all going to fail."
---
Back on the ground, Delric was shaken by the sudden blast happening at the Team Rocket HQ. He looked up into the air and could see Lucas in the building, and then a cloaked man riding a Salamence coming straight towards them using a powerful dragon attack!
"This isn't good!" shouted out Delric, taking a step back. He looked towards his Espeon, urging her to do what she could. And there was only one real thing she could do. She closed her eyes, then opened them, shining. All around her, the Pokemon of the other trainers would feel even stronger than usual. It was her Helping Hand boost attack.
"We can do this!" shouted out Delric, but he still wasn't so sure. Holding his sleeping Munna in his hands, he tried to urge Annabeth to keep moving out of the way of the powerful attack. However, she wouldn't move.
"Come on Annabeth!" called Delric. "We gotta move now!"
"No," she muttered, her eyes filling with tears.
"What are you talking about? Come on!"
"That's my Salamence," she said, her voice breaking up at the end. "MY SALAMENCE!"
Delric froze, looking up at the Pokemon coming their way. He couldn't believe it. It had been captured and... changed. "No way..."

Riolu’s Force Palm crashed into the glass container that held Lucas’ Zorua, freeing the dark-fox Pokemon. Unfortunately for the Salamence, Riolu failed to break the container holding the dragon-type Pokemon. As much as Lucas wanted to free Annabeth’s Pokemon, he was happy that his Zorua was now back into his custody. Before the Rocket Leader could perform any action, Lucas returned his Pokemon safely to their Poke Balls.
Out of pure rage, the Rocket Leader slammed his fist onto the switch. The resulting effect caused the Salamence to begin a transformation. The Pokemon began thrashing within its container. Lucas was both in shock and awe on what he was seeing. Salamence was engulfed in electricity, and its skin began to change colors and its eyes began to glow red. As soon as it began, it was over.
Lucas vaguely heard what the Rocket Leader was claiming, but he did hear that the Salamence was now his. He called it a “Dark Salamence.” Lucas had heard of a horrible procedure that could capture other trainers’ Pokemon and transform them, but it would come at a terrible price. He never though he would witness it first hand. Suddenly, a surge of emotions washed over him as he felt defenseless in helping the Pokemon. He had failed. His primary goal was to free his Pokemon and perhaps the Salamence, or at least not allow any harm come to the Salamence.
Without warning, the raging Salamence caused a massive explosion that destroyed half of the Rocket HQ. Lucas dodged some falling debris and managed to safely secure passage to the floor below. Looking up, Lucas saw that the Salamence had created a large, gaping hole that led outside. In silhouette form, Lucas saw the Rocket leader riding his newly acquired Pokemon. The man began talking once more and pointed to the group of trainers Lucas left behind.
As cunning and meticulous as Lucas tried to plan everything, he did not foresee this. A part of him now felt guilty that the situation became as dire as it currently was. But before he could act, the Salamence launched a powerful Dragon Breath attack at Lucas and the others.
Knowing it would be futile to block the current attack, Lucas dodged out of the way as the Dragon Breath attack slammed into the ground, causing massive destruction to the ground and the surrounding area. Lucas was thrown several meters and slammed into some hard surface. He could not see what may have happened to the other trainers.

Paola nearly whimpered as she ducked and shook behind her Trubbish. She seemed to be just as scared of the Togepi, Espeon and Munna as she did of the Slowking.
Her eyes went wide as the Salamence's attack blew through the HQ. She crouched even closer to her Pokemon, ensuring it would take the blunt of the attack.
Delric's Espeon's Helping Hand was starting to make her feel extremely confident. With a Psychic Pokemon out of the picture, she felt unstoppable. A guilty feeling rose up in her, knowing her confidence was from a Psychic technique.
"A Dragon / Flying type, eh?" she said as she stood. "I don't care if it's "Dark." I can handle this!"
Paola assumed an epic, Gym Leader worthy stance.
"Tubbers! Toxic Spikes!"
The Trubbish whipped the trash that could be called its arms out and unleashed a fury of toxic spikes. They embedded into the ground between the group and the Dark Salamence and its new trainer.
Paola laughed gleefully, apparently not caring very much for Annabeth's circumstance or her own Pokemon's distress.
The Trubbish moaned terribly, grabbing its trainer's leg and pointing at the opponent.
"Oh," Paola said with a blank expression, "Salamences can fly. So the spikes were for naught. Huh."
The Gym Leader and Trubbish's cheeks puffed out and they stared emotionlessly at their mistake.

Aiko was blasted backwards from the shockwave Salamence's attack had cuased, though Gray managed to catch her. His eyes widened though, as he beheld the cahnged Dragon befor him and at the words spoken by the man controlling it now. He put Aiko down and GLARED. It was a glare well-known throughout Maistralton City, nay, the entire Unova region. A glare that intimidated even an angry Beartic. Aiko and Queen flinched. Gray had been their friend for so very long already, but he still scared them when he was like this.
"DO YOU HAVE ANY IDEA WHAT YOU'VE DONE?!!! I CAN PRACTICALLY FEEL IT'S PAIN!!! YOU'RE MESSING WITH SOMETHING THAT SHOUDLN'T BE MESSED WITH!! AND HERE I THOUGHT THE IDIOTS BEHIND THE INCIDENTS IN ORRE WERE BAD!!! YOU, YOU ARE MUCH WORSE!!!!"
Gray's fists clenched hard enough for his fingernails to draw blood. He was a caretaker, and as such, he hated those who would do anything bad to Pokémon...

Looking on as Togepi’s Signal Beam, along with the delayed attack from her Future Sight struck the Slowking along with a number of other attacks, Randy’L smirked, and then patting Hope on the head, “That’s my girl.” She said in a characteristically motherly voice she often used. Still, the Slowking then got up, even after being attacked multiple times. Randy’L simply shrugged, figuring that this was the power of a fully evolved pokemon. Then disaster struck as Randy’L instinctively found herself jumping as the Rocket HQ building exploded. Turning she shielded Hope from the force of the blast, and then looked up to see the insane leader of the group riding atop what appeared to be Annabeth’s Salamance turned into a Dark Pokemon. Glaring up at it, she quickly scoffed, “Figured it was something like that. Tch, some super criminals these guys are. They’re just cheaters who can’t be bothered to train a Pokemon the right way, pathetic.” Then the Salamance launched a powerful Dragonbreath attack over the entire field. Looking on at Atlas, Randy’L nodded to him, to which the little pokemon ran up and jumped up directly into the path of the oncoming Dragonbreath. Normally this would seem like Suicide, since the Dragonbreath was clearly extremely powerful and Atlas was nowhere near well trained enough to be able to withstand it. Still, Randy’L had taught him the perfect technique to use in a situation like this, one that would allow him to save not only himself, but also everyone here. In classic dramatic fashion, Randy’L called out to her little hero, “Do it! Wide Guard!” Atlas held his timber at its center completely horizontally in direction, and as he did, the timber began to glow bright orange, as the power of Wide Guard kicked in. Wide Guard was a technique that acted similarly to the move Protect, but only for moves that hit multiple targets like Surf or Earthquake. Normally Dragonbreath was a single-target move and wouldn’t be able to be blocked by it, however due to how the Dark Salamance was using the move, spreading the flames out in a wide range over the entire field below it, it would apply to what Wide Guard would block. Simultaneously, Hope looked up at Randy’L and tugged on her shirt. Looking Randy’L in the eyes with a gaze of pure determination, Randy’L understood instantly what Hope was trying to tell her. Still, she didn’t like what Hope was trying to get her to allow her to do. It was a dangerous tactic that while it could potentially end up saving them all, could just as easily end up spelling their doom. Still, Hope was so confidant that she felt she had to do it that Randy’L decided she would accept her Pokemon’s decision. Setting Hope down, the small pokemon hopped forward a few steps, while Randy’L motioned with her arms for the others to get back, “Guys, can you give Hope some space please, she’s gonna try something…The thing is though, I don’t know how well it will work…and there’s a chance it could backfire.” The meaning of her words would become instantly clear when Hope began doing the dance that every Pokemon trainer on the planet would recognize. She was holding up both of her stubby arms and waving them back and forth, moving left and right in a rhythmic pattern. Slowly but surely, she was then starting to glow white, and the light’s intensity increased by the second. Hope was using one of the most risky moves in all of Pokemon battling, Metronome. OOC: I'll leave it up to Hito what move the Metronome ends up turning into, since you know, its supposed to be random and all. Wide GuardMetronome

Jonathan's lack off attention for his surroundings had saved the trainers battling with the Slowking by colliding and distracting it which allowed a Quick Hit and a Signal Beam to hit the psychic Pokemon. The collision did send Jonathan flying a meter or so back and landing on his back on the ground. Luckily he didn't get hurt badly and got up quickly. He wasn't quite sure what just had happened and how helpful to these people he had just been.
"My name is Jonathan... Though my friends call me Jon." The rich boy replied to this trainer who had just asked who Jonathan was. The young trainer didn't appear to be quite as afraid anymore as he had managed to escape from the Rocket building and no one was chasing him. Though he could once again see the building instead of the beautiful field of flowers, which had been there just a moment ago.
Then a trainer appeared from the Team Rocket HQ flying on some sort of dragon Pokemon which shot a beam towards Jonathan and the people near him. The rich boy was ready to start running with the power of fear once again, but then a little, buff, humanoid like Pokemon saved them following it's trainer's orders with some sort of guard move. Jonathan was very confused about all of this, from what he had figured out the dragon Pokemon was known as Salamence and it was stolen from that girl nearby and that the man flying on the dragon was evil. Other than that he was quite lost at the situation. He had never seen this species of Pokemon before so Jonathan didn't realize that this Salamence was different from normal.
"Leave this to me. I think it's only fitting that a dragon battles a dragon." Jonathan said as he threw out another Pokeball. "Hydregion, come out." And a Hydregion came out. Like all of Jonathan's Pokemon so far this one was of really high level. It wasn't the only thing it shared with Jonathan's other Pokemon however.
"Hydregion, take that dragon out." Jonathan ordered his Pokemon, while over dramatically pointing at the Salamence. However once again it did not listen. In fact it was much worse than it was with the Scizor, which had fled. and the Swampert, which had just been lazy. The Hydregion turned around with all of it's three heads staring at Jonathan and one of the seemed to be getting ready to breathe fire towards it's trainer. Realizing he was going to get hurt soon Jonathan quickly recalled his dragon before anything bad could happen to himself.
"Why won't they listen to me?!"

Delric watched in horror as all the other trainers failed at what they were trying to do. The toxic spikes wouldn't affect the salamence, and Jonathan still wasn't able to control his own powerful Pokemon. But they were still trying with all their might.
Annabeth, in horror, jumped in front of the other trainers, raising her arms wide. "What do you think you're doing!?" she screamed with tears in her eyes. "Didn't you hear me!? That's my Salamence! You can't attack it! STOP!"
Delric tried to hold Annabeth back, away from the danger, but she continued to struggle. "DON'T HURT MY SALAMENCE!"
But it was too late.
One trainer had a successful attack. Was it just luck? Or fate? Who knows. But the attack was devastating. The Salamence, in mid attack, froze in place, it's eyes going wide before rolling in the back of it's head. It shrieked, it's piercing scream echoing throughout the entire cave, shaking the ground itself. And then it fell down, crashing into the ground. It was cut in half.
Guillotine.
Annabeth stood there in horror as the Pokemon laid in front of it, just a few feet away. Blood was on her face. She took a few steps forward, then fell down, her legs giving out underneath her. She screamed, grasping dirt and rocks and slamming her fist on the ground.
And then the cloaked man landed beside her, looking down at her and then at the Pokemon trainers in front of him. He removed his cloak to reveal his face. He had slightly wavy blue hair, a deep frown on his face, and light yellow eyes. He shook his head.
"I gave you a chance," he said, talking over Annabeth's bawling. "You're all monsters. But it's not over yet. I will be back." He shot a glance at Lucas, who laid crashed on the ground. Then a hole appeared behind him and out popped Dugtrio.
"My name is Pierce," said the man, jumping and standing on his Dugtrio. His Slowking jumped down from the ledge of the collapsing building and landed on the Dugtrio as well. He then scooped up Annabeth in his arms, who seemed to not even be struggling anymore. "Remember it."
And with that, the Dugtrio quickly began to vanish into the ground, taking Pierce and Annabeth with it. Just before Annabeth's face vanished underground, she looked up, and her piercing orange eyes met with the trainers.
And then they were gone, and the entire cave began collapsing in on itself. Huge boulders were crashing down, destroying buildings and anything else in the way. Most of the Team Rocket members had also vanished, leaving mainly only the group of Trainers there, alone.
Delric couldn't believe what he saw. And he couldn't believe he did nothing to stop it. He was speechless, even as the cave was falling apart around him. He then felt a slight nudge against him, and looked down to see his Espeon. Her eyes seemed to glow slightly, and Delric nodded.
He could still do something now.
He looked towards the others, not sure of how they would be, and said: "I... I think I can get us out of here," in a weak voice.

"What," Paola said plainly.
It was not the first time she had seen a dead Pokemon, but it certainly was the first time she had seen one so violently slain. She began to shake and put her hand up to her mouth.
Her eyes glanced over at the Trubbish by her side. It shared the same shock as its trainer. She realized then something about the creature, and she regretted it had to be the death of another to make her realize it.
"Hey, Pierce Fuck! Fuck you!" she shouted after the trainer. "Give Annabeth here! Hey!"
The Gym Leader ran toward where the Dugtrio vanished. She cursed again and kicked the ground, nearly accidentally punting her garbage Pokemon in the process.
Paola put her hand to her eyes and sighed deeply. She glanced down at her Trubbish and muttered,
"I'm sorry,"
though she mostly meant it to another person.
"What's this about getting us out of here?" she almost immediately asked Delric.

Shaking off the rubble, Lucas remained on the ground and watched as the other trainers attempted to thwart the onslaught of Pierce’s unwillingly acquired Salamence. Lucas heard the shrieks echoing from Annabeth, the original trainer of the Salamence. Lucas could only imagine the anguish she was enduring.
A few moments later, an atrocity occurred that almost floored Lucas. The raging Salamence halted in midair and came crashing down to the ground. The Pokemon had been cut in two. It was dead. It certainly was not the first time Lucas had seen a dead Pokemon and also not the first time he had seen one killed before him. Still, the malevolence behind the attack sucked the air right from Lucas.
He saw Annabeth crumble to the ground. The anguish on her face was unbearable for Lucas to continue watching her. Lucas turned away as the man named Pierce landed next to her. He began to speak, but Lucas just ignored him.
Lucas looked down at his belt toward his Poke Balls and took a moment to reflect. Had he not reacted when he did when he was in the tunnel, it could have been his Pokemon that Pierce infected. It could have been his Pokemon laying dead on the ground. Lucas still felt somewhat responsible because he acted selfishly to save his own, however, he and his Riolu did make a valid attempt to save the Salamence. Without blaming his Pokemon, Lucas made a self vow to train his Pokemon harder so something like this would never happen in his presence again.
After Pierce finished talking, Lucas caught his gaze just before he and Annabeth disappeared. Once they were out of sight, the cave began to crumble in on itself. They were so far into the cave that Lucas really could not help at this moment, but he was not going to just stand around and do nothing. He needed to make it out. He was going after Pierce. Lucas limped over to the other trainers. “Look, you can hate me or whatever, but I did what I did to save my own Pokemon. I would probably do it all over again. But we need to get out of here, and fast.” Lucas looked to Delric. “You can get us out?”

Just as much as Annabeth, Randy’L was completely stunned by the Salamance’s untimely demise. She had not intended for Hope to actually kill the Salamance, and to her knowledge, even most One-Hit-KO moves didn’t have to be lethal depending on how they were used. Perhaps Hope was simply too inexperienced to control a move that powerful properly.
In actuality, Randy’L was having a hard time accepting that one of her pokemon, Hope especially, had actually killed another pokemon. That was something she would never condone let alone order one of her pokemon to do. Holding out her hand she stepped forward once, her mouth held slightly agape, “Annabeth…I…I’m…so sorry.” Her legs then gave out from under her as well as tears streamed down her face. Needless to say Hope was also in a state of shock, and had by this point fallen on her back and was hyperventilating in a state of shock and panic.
Randy’L simply slammed the ground with one hand and cupped the other around Hope, moving her closer to her as she then picked the small pokemon up and hugged her tightly to her chest as the two of them cried together.
Then, looking up as Pierce appeared and took Annabeth in his arms, Randy’L reached out, “NO, DON”T…don’t take…her.” Crouched there on the floor of the cave, Randy’L simply cried with her pokemon, not even paying attention to the collapsing cave around them. She was still in too much shock and the guilt she felt about what had just happened had overwhelmed her completely.
Atlas was repeatedly jumping up and swatting boulders away from the main group of trainers by hitting and kicking them, although he refused to use his prized log for fear of damaging it. Even as the others discussed amongst themselves how to get out of the cave, Randy’L, who felt completely responsible for the Salamance’s death, could not get over the guilt this had brought on her, and had essentially fallen apart as a result.
Barely even registering what the others were saying, she just lay crouching on the floor, hugging Hope tightly against her chest with one arm while she pounded away at the ground with the other. The girl, who was usually so calm and collected had now fallen apart because she felt she was responsible for murdering an innocent and already victimized pokemon. Falling over onto her side, she could do nothing but cry and clutch Hope tightly in her arms.

It was done. Standing around Delric were five trainers: Paola, Lucas, Randy'L, Jonathan, and Gray. They all worked hard to get here, but unfortunately, they were not able to save the day this time. Now they stood in a collapsing cave as rubble fell down all around them. And Delric still had a Pokemon to show.
He reached on his side and tossed it in the air. "Abra, I choose you." And an Abra appeared on the ground, crooking his head to the side as he watched the trainers.
"He isn't a great Pokemon," started Delric, looking at the others. "But he can do one thing right. He can get us out of here."
But first, Delric looked over at Lucas. "I know you did what you had to do for a reason," he said. "And if you could, you would have saved Annabeth's Pokemon as well. But now is not the time to think about it. First, let's get out of here. Everyone."
He then put a hand on Abra. "Abra.... Teleport."
And instantly, everyone vanished.
