Despite his horrible condition Azriel had made his way home, which wasn't very far from the magic council, and was now on his two month long vacation. He did not do much, though just lied on his bed waiting for his wounds to heal. He couldn't have had went to the doctor, it would hurt his image as the perfect prodigy. Aether had left the council as well and no one had listened to Azriel's advice about asking him about Oracion Seis and it was too late now. Tracking him down would be hard. Where ever he may have went he was now munching down sweets, as usual. Jupiter did not feel like spending any more time in the council so he had disappeared too, despite having been invited for a dinner. He was already officially recognized by the council and had been for about nine years, ever since he first started his career as a mage, so he felt that there was no point for him to stay there. Atre was missing too. But that was nothing new.

"That's all well and good, but I think I'm gonna go for a walk. See you on the by and by, and don't wait up for me neither."
Never one for celebrations or consuming things made by other people, Alden opted to duck out. As he made for an exit though, he bumped into a new arrival on the scene. Whoever it was, was study to the letter, as Alden actually rebounded off and fell over.
"Oof! Sorry man."
With the door open, there stood a splendidly gleaming knight in jeweled plate anrmor. Resolute, he only glanced towards Alden, but continued past him. Brushing himself off, the mage hunter got back up and made his exit for real.
"I am not sure this is the time for celebration. An unprecedented attack of this magnitude, upon the Magic Council?"
Arthur, another of the Council whom had been absent, didn't seem all that pleased. His presence or lack thereof during the attack wasn't on his mind, but the aftermath of it was clearly an issue.
"By a former Councilman no less. This kind of action demands reaction, irrespective of whatever events may be occurring aside. If Renascence seeks to settle their own waters, let the Guild do as they please. A petition to the King however, for this transgression, should be due."
Holding his signature book in his arms, the knight remained resolute. The way things were going he partly expected to be ignored completely, but he held true to his point.
---
"Hey kid!"
Upon exiting the Magic Council headquarters, Alden suddenly realized he was looking for someone whom he knew nothing about. Only a name. With that in mind, he resorted to the method which made him the best at what he did, hunting mages; he ran around blindly, calling out for the mage he was hunting.
"Hey kid that attacked the Magic Council!"
Chances were slim of finding the person he was after, but he wouldn't give up for a good while. He kind of banked on the rest of the Guild leaving him behind by that point, but he had his telescope to get back home.
"KID WHO ATTACKED THE MAGIC COUNCIL WHERE ARE YOU?"

"I will not allow any Guild mages to go after the Oracion Seis," said Mark as Arthur entered the room. He was just beginning to rest now too. "This is a matter for the Royal Army, not for vigilantes. If we let mages do as they pleased in that regard, we'd have more dead than alive. That is the reason we give out missions with ranks, and this mission is a rank higher than any Guild can handle as far as I'm concerned."
Mark wasn't sure if Arthur had anything more to say about it, but Mark had given his thoughts. After all, Arthus wasn't here and didn't see what the Oracion Seis had done. Plus, if his suspicions were true, then he knew the Oracion Seis would grow more powerful than they were this day, and even more dangerous.
Elrond said nothing during the conversation. Sure, if he did gain info about Asmoday, he would go find her, but he wouldn't speak out in front of the council. He wouldn't risk the rest of his mages being reprimanded for his own actions.
Seeing Alden leave wasn't a surprise. Alden usually didn't participate. But he did know that Asmoday was close to Alden, at least Asmoday thought so, and he wondered if the mages sudden disappearance lead Alden to go after her himself.
"I'm leaving too," said Elrond, standing up. Mark didn't contest, for his mind was full and with Arthur back, he might have some convincing to do.
Elrond, once he left the room, created a flying stone out of the floor to sit on, and then smoothed the hole after. He then flew down the hall and out the building, but he wasn't sure where Alden went. Once he reached outside, however, he could hear Alden yelling for someone.
Elrond zoomed around the building, but stayed high enough and far enough away so that Alden wouldn't see him. He just sat there for a while, his head resting on his palm as he looked away from Alden and up at the sky.
"Hello."
The voice caused Elrond to jump so hard he almsot fell off his flying rock. Spinning around, he saw a figure in the air. It was Asmoday, but... it wasn't. It looked like a much older Asmoday with white hair and glowing eyes.
"Who are you?"
The woman just smiled. "Descendent of Validus. I wish the Castor boy had a descendent. I wanted to thank him."
"W-what do you want?" asked Elrond.
"Your friend is safe," said the woman. "I wanted to assure you of that. Don't go looking for her. It will only bring you unnecessary pain."
And though Elrond tried to call out to the figure, it quickly faded away into the sky. Elrond didn't return to the dining hall, but he went straight to the room provided for him, and tried to sleep.
