Noil did not hesitate to leave Astral behind when Mark caught up to him and told him to leave to search for their allies. The descriptions Astral had given were quite vague so maybe Noil would not be able to recognize the people Astral had talked about, but then again was Noil really even going to do search for them? All he did was keep making more pathways for himself to burrow further and further in to the walls and floors of the council building. Mark's initial attack aimed at Noil had failed, but he could keep on chasing after him. However to do so he would have to damage the building quite a bit and unless he had a way to track Noil he would also need a quite bit of luck to find him. --- Jupiter listened to Apollo's plea to kill him and stood there for a second thinking. When he finally gave his answer this is what he had to say: ”Hell no. I ain't no killer.” Having said that Jupiter kicked Apollo once, as he certainly was still conscious, and then left him on his own. When Elrond told everyone to attack Spider Thighs Jupiter sent a few of his marbles towards the beautiful arachnid, but he did not really attack with them. Instead Jupiter was going to use his marbles to seal of Spider Thighs' butt cannon and so the marbles flew in to the anus in hopes of 'jamming' the cannon, so to speak. ”Note to self: gotta buy some new marbles. No way in hell I'll ever recall those.” Since no one else did Jupiter went on to check on Azriel who had just stabbed himself with a burning sword and was now bleeding on the floor. ”This guy's not dead... At least not yet. Someone patch him up. Or somethin'.” As Azriel had said earlier he would never kill anyone, and apparently not even himself. Jupiter's specialty was causing wounds, not fixing them, but he hoped at least someone knew what to do with him or he probably would die soon. Someone that knew him might now that Azriel could mend wounds with his magic. However as he was unconscious at the moment that might not have been too much help. Afterwards Jupiter also went on to check on Cassandra, the girl that been with Apollo, to see if she was alive as well, though was interrupted before he could get there. --- The biggest problem with Renascence, at least according to Jupiter, was the fact they had no quality control over new members, Elrond just happily welcomed anyone that showed even the slightest interest in to the guild and this had left some problem members in. One of them was Druid, who now transformed in to some sort of huge lizard that was too heavy and big for this room and thus broke the floor beneath himself and of those around him Jupiter fell down for a bit, but did not fall very far and never hit the ground as after a short free fall Jupiter starter floating on the air and then he began walking there. His step did look quite unstable and his balance was poor, but he did not fall. However the weird thing here obviously was that walking on air was not Jupiter's magic. More accurately he did not poses any real magic, but instead just used marbles, or maybe he had learnt proper magic that allowed him to float on air. Unless someone were to grab him Azriel would fall down and his wounds would get from horrible to even worse. Jupiter did not stay in the air for very long and soon returned back to whatever floor they all had fallen to as he wanted to say a couple of words to Druid: ”Doc, what the hell was that?” Jupiter asked as he walked towards Druid looking very angry. ”Dumbass.” Showing how much he appreciated what he had done Jupiter would try to elbow Druid's face, even though he did not seem to be in a very good condition in the first place.

"Oh..."
Seeing what appeared to be the top dog of the prisoners pulverized almost immediately upon his arrival, Alden lowered his arms in a sense of being defeated himself. He was on guard as the other prisoners fled, but otherwise there didn't seem much that needed doing.
"...yeah, that's right! Run for your lives!"
Giving his little piece to the escapees, he felt Dofun's presence spoke volumes regardless. Turning to the clown, he went to tip his helmet, but forgot he'd lost it and chuckled to himself lightly.
"That's that then. Shall we?"
With that, he took off in a run towards the council building.
---
This wasn't good. Azealya was great at fighting closely, Elly knew as much even from the short time she knew her. It seemed though the other guy was quite capable himself, at least enough that Elly wasn't sure how to help now. She figured at least originally, that she could have managed to grab Azealya at some point as well as the other woman, and walk away. Now though, she didn't see an easy way to get to Azealya without putting herself at risk. That, and she was certain on her own that she wouldn't be able to deal with Ian.
Instead, taking a deep breath and mustering her courage, she quickly made her way for awakened Asmoday. She couldn't move at a full run, trying to be sneaky about it, but she went at a good enough pace. The question was if Ian or even Azealya did anything about her, since to get to Asmoday she'd have to move right by the both of them. At the very least though she certainty didn't look or seem dangerous, as she ever had.
If unhindered, her goal was to reach Asmoday and properly help her awake.

"These two have to be the worst of them all," Qi said ignorantly to Elrond. "I can't imagine anything more horrible."
"These people are working with Arachnoid Aegis so expect the worst," Monkey warned. "If they're working with that abomination, it's certain innocent lives means nothing to them."
Qi watched on as Elrond and Jericho used their incredible magic to combat Spider Thighs. But then, Druid transformed in what seemed like an attempt to protect the creature's life. In the chaos, she heard Monkey shouting, but could only understand what he was saying when she saw a large blur speed over her head.
Positioning himself before the mages, but opposite Spider Thighs, the summon Horse took on most of the blows of Druid's transformation. Its human chest and glorious abs were torn as its quills pricked and stratched against him. Fortunately, his boxers, the only clothes he wore, were not torn as well.
"Horse!" Qi shouted. Her heart sank in despair. How many more of her friends would be hurt today? She would have never guessed the day would ever turn out like this.
"Sorry for before," the summon managed to say to Elrond, Jupiter and the others, looking down at them with his dull horse face. He was likely referring to Apollo's control over him before. He began to fall, disappeared in a bright golden light, just before crushing them beneath his weight.
Monkey held Qi up as she pointed her staff at where Horse once was. It was no surprise she would send him back, given how injured he was. She began to sob, stressed by the whole situation.
---
After Jupiter refused to kill him, Apollo fell unconscious. His black blood formed a pool underneath him, soaking his sparkling white hair. He had never looked more ugly.
Meanwhile, his servant Cassandra was motionless nearby. Her head was bruised and bloodied from bashing it over and over on the floor. It was likely she was dead, but that was yet to be seen.

Spider Thighs fell to the floor with barely a sound, as it was still taking in what was happening around it. The environment had suddenly changed and the large prey had disappeared as quickly as it had arrived. As soon as it had hit the floor, the creature had attempted to stand up. It was now making progress, albeit unsteadily. Soon, even with the paralysis of two of its legs, it could at the very least stand up. The legs shakily clicked and clacked across the surface as the creature tried to find out what was going on, what was where, how –
The pool of blood rippled.
A single, thin, white leg touched the liquid. The spider froze in place, silent.
For several moments, it was only silence.
And then the child’s head turned.
More spindly legs left ripples in the blood until the creature was still once more. In front of it was Apollo, the singing food. It was not singing any longer. It gently laid the blood-soaked tip of a leg onto the man’s chest.
He was still warm. Still alive.
It was only sensible that there would be confusion and disorientation from the damage done by Druid’s actions. And as others collected themselves or tended to other matters, Arachnoid Aegis scraped the leg across the morsel it intended to chew on.
A leg sunk into Apollo’s shoulder. Another into his knee. There they stayed, pinning the food down in case it had at all intended to run.
A transparent liquid flowed from the child’s mouth, spilling onto Apollo’s body. Unless he were still unconscious, he would feel a sizzling burn. It ate through his clothes quickly enough and nearly did the same to the skin.
Shakily and erratically, the child’s hands went to the man’s chest.
And sank into the snack.
Far away from the bloody horror taking place in the tower, Dofun looked at the shards of the mask that he had been given. It wasn’t the mask itself he cared about; he was sure there were probably more of its Jupiter-kind lying around at the guild.
But now it was the second time a mask had broke that day.
For now, he only saw one, temporary solution.
He ran and followed Alden towards the council building. Were Alden to turn around, he would see Dofun’s face be nothing more than a chunk of shining diamond, a faceless block of pure radiant glory.

Azealya grinned as her spike attack was a success, but her own attack may have led to her downfall. By attacking Ian and spilling his blood, it gave Ian more range for attacks, since he used his blood as a means of attack. With so much of his blood around, the blood whips attacked Azealya relentlessly. She was forced to let go of Ian and she stumbled backwards, many cuts across her body, before she fell to her knees.
"You little," she started, gnawing her teeth. "Seems like I can't let you bleed anymore. I'll just have to finish this off in one hit."
She quickly raised her arm as it transformed into a giant black spike with red cracks all over it. Even at Ian's distance, he could probably feel the heat emanating off of the spike. It was a type of missile attack that, upon hitting the enemy, would explode into molten lava. She aimed straight at Ian and a second later, shot the spike forward.
Well, she would have, if a giant dinosaur, a spider creature, and a whole group of mages didn't suddenly fall through the ceiling, shaking the ground so hard that her spike completely missed, instead slamming into a wall and melting it.
"W-what the hell!?" she shouted out, taking a step back. As dust and rubble flew all around, it took her a few minutes to figure out what was going on, a few minutes that Ian might be able to use to his advantage.
But one thing she did notice was Spider Thighs and Apollo. He was... about to... eat him.
"SPIDER!" shouted Azealya, running his way. "Don't you remember what Astral said!? NO EATING ORACION SEIS!"
One thing Azealya did not realize, however, was that she was yelling this in front of every Renascence mage around. Once she realized that Elrond was standing up from the rubble, along with Qi, Jupiter, and the others.
Even at the doorway, she saw entering the building, Alden and Dofun.
She then realized just how alone she was, totally surrounded by enemies. Spider Thighs was there, but he was too focused on his food, and Apollo, well, she wasn't sure if she'd ever see him again. "Uh, hey guys," she started, chuckling.
Elrond had been terribly surprised by Druid's attack. After all, he had only known the mage for a short time, and hadn't grown familiar with his magic. Still, he managed to protect himself with stone when the floor collapsed. Now on the bottom floor, he made sure everyone else was okay, then heard everything that Azealya said.
Before Elrond addressed her, however, he glanced at Druid, out cold on the floor. "That's probably for the best," he said. "We'll have to talk to him when he wakes up." He then turned to Azealya. "You know, if you ever change your mind, you can join my Guild, but seeing how you're not a good guy, I don't guess you ever were in it!"
Elrond also noticed that Ian was in the room, and seeing him there gave him confidence that he could handle Azealya, especially when he had this much backup. He also saw Alden and Dofun enter the building. "Yo, guys," he said, waving a hand. "A bit late to the party, but you're just in time! We're just finishing dealing up with these bad guys."
Azelya couldn't believe it. The group had completely fallen apart. Had their plan failed?
Asmoday was totally out of it. She could just barely see what was going on in front of her. There was a girl, maybe around her age, in front of her. "Hello," Asmoday managed to say. "Could you help me get out of here?"
---
Downstairs, Astral Lance was glad to see Noil managed to escape. As far as he was concerned, his plan was complete. He just had to find the Renascence Guild, find the one named Asmoday within that Guild, and he could be off. Of course, he didn't know the entire Guild was just above his head. Nevertheless, he didn't want to, nor needed to, fight anymore. He just had to escape.
Mark, seeing that following Noil would be in vain, turned back to Astral. After all, Astral was a more wanted man at the moment. He had the secrets of the Magical Council and could not be allowed to escape. With great speed, he jumped at Astral, his fist raised.
"Sorry, big guy, but that's it for now."
Astral clapped his heads together and a huge electric wave erupted from his body, slamming into Mark so hard it stopped him in his tracks. Still, it was amazing Mark didn't go flying like any regular person would. It just so happened Astral did this at the very moment Druid fell through the ceiling along with the rest of the mages, so Astral did not totally hear anything above his head. But, he'd find out soon enough on his own.
His body began to transform. It grew larger and larger, his original body fading in a torrent of light blue electricity. Destroying everything in his path, he completely eradicated a large part of the Magical Council Building (but not anything that affected the mages on the floor above, though they would certainly notice something, and might even see it happening through any windows or holes in the wall). Astral eventually grew so large that he was at least half the size of the entire Magical Council building.
As he did so, huge black thunderclouds swarmed the sky above, striking the ground with lightning every few seconds. Yes, thought Astral Lance, I have not been in this form in years. Oh, the power! It was true, Astral had not become this ethereal lightning behemoth since his fight with Jupiter's ancestor, Saturn.
In a booming voice like thunder, loud enough for all of the city to hear, Astral Lance said, "My Oracion Seis. Our goal here is completed. You know where to meet me."
He was speaking, of course, of the Crystal Cave. Astral knew that if he hung around, he risked capture, but he knew that his Oracion Seis were good, at the very least, at getting away. It was up to them now. Astral Lance, in a sick way, almost considered this a test, for if any member could not return to the cave, they were never truly Oracion Seis quality to begin with.
With those final words, Astral shot into the sky like a bolt of lightning in reverse, and the stormclouds were blown away in a brilliant shockwave, leaving no trace of the ex-Magical Council member.
---
Inside the Magical Council building, Azealya had heard Astral Lance's announcement. Had he found what he needed? He quickly yelled at Spider Thighs again, "Stop it you stupid spider! Let's just get out of here while we can!"
Spinning around, she also saw Asmoday upon the wall. She had almost forgotten about the mage, but was glad she remembered, for there with her was Elly. "Elly!" she shouted. "Get out of here, now, with that girl! She's Asmoday!"
With that, Azealya Thorn jumped in the air as her entire body became a giant thorn. As she did so, many smaller spikes shot all around, realizing a gray smoke that not only concealed her movements, but also gave off a toxic vapor that would cause anyone nearby to have stinging eyes. She spun around so that the spiked end was facing the ground, and then flew downwards, hoping to drill through the ground and escape.
Of course, she had been out in the open for a long while, so if anyone tried to stop her, this was their chance to do so. If not, she'd escape.

"Hello, could you help me get out of here?"
"Hi, how are yo- oh, right. Close your eyes then, and hang on."
Reaching Asmoday's side in a run, Elly dropped to her knees to respond to the girl, thankful that Ian hadn't turned his attention to her. This was her first time seeing Asmoday up close, and though she didn't know who she was yet, she was somewhat taken aback to see that the person Azealya was transporting was just some young girl, not unlike herself. It seemed though before she had a chance to try and guess at motives, already the girl was somewhat lucid and asking things of her.
At her request, Elly leaned forward and put her arms around Asmoday in a hug, soon after which the familiar distortion and hum began to emanate around her.
---
"Oh damn son, this is more than just a mess."
Traipsing onto the scene, Alden looked down through the ruined floor to where everyone had landed. He could jump down and join them, but for the time being, he enjoyed being able to keep a watch over the whole place.
"A bit late to the party, but you're just in time! We're just finishing dealing up with these bad guys."
"Eyo, couldn't save some for the rest of us?"
Calling down with a grin, he shifted the toothpick around in his mouth, holding his hand above his brow as he scanned over the room looking for something in particular. Or, someone, whom he eventually noticed. A fellow guild member whom had shown him an act of kindness, but seemed to be caught in a grapple with some unknown figure.
"Hey, Asmoday, you alright?"
At that he jumped forward and slid down the pile of rubble, making his way towards her, though unsure of what to make of it. After all, she seemed to be caught in some kind of vibrating sphere or something.
---
"E**y! G*t ou* *f he**, n*w, *it* th** g**l! S*e's Asmo***!"
Although Elly recognized Azealya's voice, she couldn't make it out too well over the distortion from her power, and she didn't want to risk breaking concentration. She had finally established a strong enough resonance with her power that she could walk now, taking the girl with her. Feeling her body starting to pull away, she closed her eyes and pulled Asmoday tight, hoping to lessen the trauma of walking for the first time.
Alden neared within about twenty feet of the sphere, though he wasn't sure if it was safe to approach, so he called out Asmoday's name again. A few moments went by, but in a blink, the two inside the sphere had blurred out of existence as the sphere seemed to crush them into nothing. The toothpick fell from his mouth, and he ran to the spot where they had been not a second ago, sifting through the newly formed crater in the ground caused by the sphere. In the process he was assaulted by the aftereffects of Azealya's escape, but a blast of water to the face from his bottle took care of most of the effects.
"What the... *cough* what happened to her... *cough guys?"
It was times like this where he cursed not having himself any magic power, and so he was at a total loss as to what had just occurred. Enough at least, that Astral's booming voice didn't really phase him, he was too concentrated on his missing friend.

Something began to stir near the horrific scene. A deep black mist faded in from the floor, spiraling up until it gathered into clumps and formed a figure.
It was a rather simple man in dark traditional Greek robes. He had a long brown unkempt hair with a fabulous beard and mustache to go with it. He had large dark circles under his eyes, as though he hadn't slept in years. He took a bow as his bare feet tapped against the ground.
"Hallo!" he said with a rather chipper voice. "Achleez here! Son, it is me. Yoour papa is come for a sooprise visit to each of my deer children! It's so good to finally meet yoou!"
His face nearly hit the floor when he saw Spider Thighs snacking on his prey, the prey he had come to see.
"Oh no!" he lamented. "Yoou are being eaten by a spider! But this is no ordinary spider. No. This is a yamping hueman eating spider! Good heavens! What a deleecious yet hourrible fate! At least yoou didn't fake out and run off like some other son of mine. What kind of bastard leaves when his papa is coming to sooprise visit? He should have known I was coming!"
He shook his head and stroked his beard. Despite being concerned about the nasty scene, he ignored everyone else in the room, much too focused in his own musings.
"Never mind that. All is well. I jaust have to replace yoour worthless self. I could restore yoou and save your life, I suppose. But I'm too lazy. Let us make a new yoou instead!"
Reaching up a hand, he reached into more black mist, pulling out several large books with various names plastered on them.
"Ahdrian, Amond, Ahpollo... ah, yes! Ahpollo! Last entry was phour years ago? Goodness gracious. This is what I get for not visiting the childrens."
Opening one of the books, he pointed to strange, jagged characters.
"Ahpollo, second copy! Obey yoour master and awaken!"
More dark mist filled the space about the mage. From it, another figure started to emerge from the forming clumps. A skeleton danced in the air. Muscles and black organs soon followed. Skin and clothes covered the mass until it resembled what looked to be another Apollo. This one was different from the one they faced in that room. He was a teenager, appearing perhaps sixteen, rather than twenty. His shimmering white hair was tattered and he wore dirty rags and rusted chains. He looked rather humble and meek, nothing like the narcissist the others had seen before.
He slowly opened his eyes and peered at his smooth hands. What appeared to be a gag hung about his neck.
"Where am I?" he asked in a luring, yet practically harmless voice. "What's going on?"
One of the first things the new Apollo saw was himself being devoured by something he couldn't explain. His beautiful face contorted as he nearly let out a scream.
His mouth was covered by Cassandra, who had gotten up. Her head was still bleeding, but she seemed relatively calm. Her eyes were stern and cold, full of determination.
"Calm down, Apollo," she muttered. "If you value your life, follow me. I'm not going to let my research go to further waste. Come on."
Cassandra took the new Apollo and ran to flee the room from where they intially entered. If they were successful, they would leave in an entirely different direction from the other Oracion Seis, but still escape on their own and follow Astral Lance's orders.
"Enjuoy yoour existence!" the odd man cheered and waved. "Haha! Bai!"
Turning to the others, the strange man finally acknowledged their presence. Azealya's toxic vapor spell reached him, but it didn't seem to affect him at all.
"What are yoou all doing here? Is this some kind of party? Didn't one of yoou say Asmoday was here? I haven't seen or heard from her in centuries I tink. I want in! "
---
Having already been traumatized, seeing Spider Thighs devour Apollo caused Qi to faint. Monkey carried her and stood by Elrond, grimacing. It wasn't apparent as to how the spirit could remain in their world. Maybe it was Qi's magic, maybe it was by his own will. That aside, after seeing what happened to his summoner under an item perhaps created by the mage that appeared before them, along with everything else, he was understandably uneasy.
Astral Lance's declaration of victory made his suspicions on the whole matter all the more apparent. He began to fear that his worst nightmare was going to return again.
"Elrond!" he shouted. "Asmoday's in trouble! I think they've mistaken her for the dark mage with the same name! Eek!"
Azealya's toxic magic engulfed him, blinding and irritating him. He knelt on the ground and clutched Qi, not knowing what else to do.
---
In his deepest darkest nightmare, Apollo thought being alone would be the worst fate. He could have never guessed the jaws of a foul creature would be his undoing. He was unconscious for most of it, but awoke when it was too late to call for help. His lungs were already gone.
There would be no more songs.
It was beyond cruel. In his last moments, the person he searched for his entire life stood right by, unwilling to help him. He would never know his father or what he truly was. He would never know what love was, only seeing it briefly in Elly, who for all he knew was dead and gone, just like he would be.
The final sight Apollo saw was the other him being whisked away by Cassandra before succumbing to silent, agonizing death in the jaws of a boy and his spider.

Noil kept on digging his way through the walls of the council until he finally reached the top floor as Astral had told him to do and opened a small hole on the wall so that he could peek inside. However there he did not find any of the people that he was told to help. In fact he did not find the floor at all as Druid had already broken it by this point. Looking downwards Noil could see all the people gathered there and among them was the spider Astral had talked about, but he couldn't tell from afar who was the masked man he was supposed to go meet with or if he even was there. There were plenty of young girls down there though, but Noil had no idea which one of them was named 'Elly'. ”Not worth taking such a risk for strangers...” Noil though closing the hole he had created and left the rest of Oracion Seis on their own. Not like they even knew he existed. While making his way through the walls again Noil heard Astral's message telling that he should know where to meet again. ”...I do not...” Truly he had no idea what Astral meant by that and was now unable to track him down again. Soon Noil would make a hole in the back side of the Council Build and check around that no one were around to see so that he could leave safely. As long as no one saw him emerging from walls Noil though he was safe as no one, but Astral had really seen his new face. Noil Jauquard might be wanted, but no one could recognize him. ”I guess this was a short lived partnership...” He thought as he walked down the streets of Era. -- Even though Druid was unconscious Jupiter found hitting him to be a very satisfying experience and while doing so forgot to check on Cassandra all together, even though he had planned to do so. Azriel was left to bleed on the floor on his own as well. ”Yo, boss. She's not the only one that's evil and you should kick out of the guild. This asshole over here helped that damn spider get away so let's get rid of him too.” Jupiter said while pointing at Druid next to him. ”Oh and that son-of-a-bitch Briar too he um... broke my window, ya know. Sounds pretty damn evil to me, so ya should kick him out too.” When Alden and Dofun arrived Jupiter wanted to ask Alden why he was so late, but when he saw Dofun's face to be diamonds Jupiter quickly looked the other way and ignored the two. He wasn't sure what to make of this, but he never knew what to make of Dofun in the first place. When Spider Thighs started devouring Apollo Jupiter turned his attention to the overgrown spider. He didn't really care about saving Apollo, but the thighs had to be dealt with. ”Someone back me up, I'll take out that damn ugly bug.” Hoping that someone would actually help him Jupiter first opened his bags so that his marbles could fly out again and then sent some of them to pummel Spider Thighs' and it's boy's eyes (all of them) in hopes that it would prevent it from seeing him. Then Jupiter waited for an opportunity to do his next move. And when he thought he had a chance he would go for it and try to do the ultimate finishing move and suplex Spider Thighs. Even if no one were to help him he would still attempt to do this.
The heavier the target the more effective the suplex would be and Spider Thighs was really heavy. If Jupiter was successful in his attempt to lift Spider Thighs those behind him would be in danger of being crushed as Jupiter would not really pay attention to his surroundings when slamming the spider and someone might just be unlucky enough to stand in the way.
While Jupiter was trying to fight Spider Thighs something weird happened in the room as a man talking in a really stupid accent appeared in the room and conjured another Apollo and some other weird things. Jupiter's attention was mostly elsewhere though and he did not think much of this as of now. --- ”Oh...” Aether still was mostly oblivious to the things going on around him, but like many others he arrived to the room where most of the people were now gathered, but he did not do much, just kept on munching on his sweets and looking at all the things happening around him. Watching Apollo's father give birth to another son really caught Aether's attention who watched it intensely and then he muttered the words: ”He is... like me?”

Ian was braced for the missile to slam into him. Ready to take it on. He was glad when the group fell through the ceiling though and caused the missile to fly off and slam into the wall. He had not been expecting it to explode.
Ian looked around at the others as they stood from the rubble. Shaking his head Ian glanced down at his body as the wounds closed themselves and the blood that had escaped the wounds began to collect it self. The blood formed into a makeshift axe. It appeared that Ian wanted to finish what had started between him and the thorn woman.
Before he had a chance to charge Astral Lances voice boomed inside the room. After the man had finished speaking the thorn lady was quick to take her leave as well as fill the room with smoke.
Ian quickly tried to find his way to Asmoday to make sure she wasn't taken. Unfortunately once he had gotten where she had been she was gone and Ian felt stupid. Very stupid.

Everything came to a tumultuous climax very quickly. Spider Thighs had been suplexed by Jupiter while Alden and Lian chased to save Asmoday from Elly. Apollo was eaten, but then revived by an 'Achyls' which immediately caught Elrond's attention, for the powerful magical power emanating from him was more than either Azealya Thorn or the spider creature. Asmoday vanished into thin air and the new Apollo, along with Cassandra, escaped in the chaos and when Jupiter finished his devastating attack, when the dust cleared, he'd find a drill like hole in the ground where the spider should have been. The tunnel quickly collapsed after, leaving only the strange being, the one named Achyls in the room with the mages of Renascence. "Asmoday's gone?" asked Elrond. He had only just noticed Elly, but had no idea she was an enemy. She looked just like a young girl, but he was quickly learning that appearances were the last thing he should base a person on. "Then we have to get her--!""I'm okay." Walking through a nearby wall was Asmoday. At least, the form of the young mage. "I'm an illusion." The illusion quickly started to fade. It appeared Asmoday was still under Azealya's control, where ever she was, and her magic was not stable. "I wanted to thank you," she continued. "Everyone. But I've been told something interesting. I have to go away for now.""Wait!" yelled Erlond, running to the illusion. "Where? Why!?""To find out who I am," said Asmoday. "I'm sorry." Her vision settled on Alden, and in her eyes there was a clear sense of regret, and she opened her mouth to speak. Before any words came out, however, the illusion faded away, like a breeze. Elrond stopped where Asmoday had vanished, looking around dumbfounded. "What is going on here?"Suddenly, a wall collapsed as Mark appeared from the floor below. Part of his body had been burnt by Astrals' final attack, and his hearing was still gone. Examining the situation, however, he knew well enough what was going on. "Mages of Renascence! This is not the place, nor time to speak. Not here, like this. We must---!" He stopped, noticing on in particular that did not belong in this scene. "Who are you?" yelled Mark, walking towards Achlys. The blue aura like magic that surrounded his body grew more and more intense. "I have had enough intruders for one day! I will not put up with another! Leave now, or I will force you to!"Elrond seemed too dazed to even listen to Mark or acknowledge Achyls. "We have to get her back," he said. "They're messing with her mind. She wouldn't just leave.""She 'just' left Atrum, did she not?" The voice belonged to Jericho. His magical ice form had ceased and his appearance was a frail old man again. Leaving Mark to handle Achyls, he thought it proper to calm Elrond and any of the other mages worried about Asmoday. "The Magical Council knows quite a bit about your Guild, Elrond, and we know of Asmoday as well. We know she joined Atrum to discover who she was, and when Atrum fell, she joined you. Now that you have failed in stopping the Oracion Seis, who is to say that she has not now joined them in hoping to find who she is?"Jericho sighed. "Astral Lance did not return here to destroy the Magical Council. He came here for information. It is clear their goal was Asmoday all along." "What are you talking about?" shot Elrond. Very rarely had anyone seen Elrond in such a state. "Do you not know who Asmoday is?""She's my guild mate.""And she may be. But her name is the same as an ancient evil." He glanced at Achyls. "Perhaps as ancient as the one who adorns our halls right now.""Asmoday is not evil," said Elrond. "She put her past behind her when she joined us. She helped save Qi's life!""I am not saying she is evil, Elrond. I am saying, however, that it appears she may be easily swayed, and if she is not the ancient Asmoday, her name is the same, and Astral Lance, at this point, seems to be willing to grasp any straw he can.""I'm going after her." The stone underneath Elrond's feet broke free, floating in the air. "Anyone who wants to come along, feel free.""You will not," commanded Jericho. "You do not even know where they are, and if you did manage to track them down, do you believe you can fight all of the Oracion Seis on your own? If I know anything, they will not hurt her. She is safe, even in those evil hands. Right now, you need to rest your mind and think straightly."Elrond clenched his fist, then he stone dropped back into the ground. Elrond staggered forward and placed a hand against a wall for support. He glanced up at Alden and Jupiter and Qi and her summons and Dofun and Ian and Lakin and all the others. He was supposed to be the Guild Master. He was supposed to keep the Guild together, and yet, right before his eyes, Asmoday had been taken. He looked at his hands. He had hardly a wound, but all the others, almost everyone, was more injured them him. He was supposed to be the leading force, yet, more or less, he had done nothing. "Who are you?" asked Elrond to Ice Dragonslayer. "Jericho," said Jericho. "Rank 3 of the Magical Council. Do not worry." He turned to face Achlys. "Once we rid this threat, we will help you out. After all, you've helped us out." He then called out to all the mages around. "Aim your weapons upon this threat! I know not what you're capable of, intruder, but if you wish to have every mage within this building your enemy, you'd do well to leave."Mark, though he could not hear, understood what Jericho was saying, and standing in front of everyone, appeared like a wall that could not be penetrated. "You heard him. Leave us."Elrond, however, stood in the very back, his face pale, and feeling very very small.

Ian's face was red. Incredibly red. He slammed his fist against stone. He knew what he had to do. "it's my fault she's gone. I was here to protect and get her back. I Failed."
Ian took a breath and stared hard at the others. "I agree with the guild master. You all seem like a well enough group so I say we go after her. If not well, you're not the people you seem like."
Ian looked around at the the people that made up the guild. He hadn't officially been accepted but he felt an urge to rescue the one that was lost while he was trying to get her back.
Ian headed for the door and did not care to look back to see who was following.

Suplexing an overgrown spider was a manly thing and thus just suitable activity for a manly man like Jupiter. But did it really help? Sure he slammed the spider, but did it really hurt it or just help it escape? One thing was for sure there was no real way to Jupiter to give chase right now with the path having collapsed and all. ”I dunno guys. She kinda sounds like she wants to go, ya'know. Or at least that she gotta go... That's what she said.” Jupiter commented on Asmoday leaving and Elrond and Ian immediately wanting to go chase after her. He wasn't sure if he understood the message correctly and thus felt uncertain about all this. ”...” ”Those assholes weren't that tough. Ain't no problem if we'd chase after them. ” Jupiter spoke to Jericho when he told Elrond to not chase after Oracion Seis. Jupiter had not been hit once during this whole ordeal, after all. ”Besides no point listenin' to what these guys. Our business is ours and that's all. So only members of our guild should have a say in this and not some geezers like this guy.” Like he had said earlier today, Jupiter really did not like the council and this was a good example why. Meanwhile in the midst of all the rubble Azriel had woken up and healed himself the best he could, which was not very well. He had managed to close the wound, but he still looked horrible, with bloody clothes, empty eyes, paler than white skin and even in general he just looked ill and weak. If someone had been able to see him heal himself a moment ago Azriel had only transformed his right arm instead of his whole body and then touched his stab wound to mend it. That was the best he could do, he didn't have the strength to do anything more than this. Now he slowly got up and while leaning to the walls or whatever he could moved forwards in an attempt to leave the council. Every few steps Azriel would almost trip over only to just barely regain his balance in time. ”Y-yo. I'll b-be going on a va-vacation. My sis will g-get married soon a-and I mu-mu-must attend the wed-wedding. I'll be ba-back after that, so see'ya.” Azriel wasn't lying about his sister getting married, but the wedding wasn't until about 2 months from now, so it was just him trying to act cool and get a convenient reason to rest. Then again he probably shouldn't be working in this kind of condition anyway. ”O-o-oh and y-y-you should pro-probably ask that kid over there a-about th-those guys who at-attacked here.” Azriel did not state who he meant by 'that kid', but from the context it should be obvious that he meant Aether, who had came with the Oracion Seis and then gotten fired on the spot.

Walking to Elrond, Monkey adjusted his grip on the unconscious Qi. He kept her head propped up against his chest. His eyes were irritated from Azealya's magic. His skin began to flake, a side effect of forcefully staying in their world as Qi slept.
He frowned sympathetically at Elrond, who was overwhelmed by the authority of the council members. He spoke softly to him, trying to calm him down.
"One hundred years ago, I was summoned to be a double agent of the dark mage Asmoday. I spied on your grandfather and his friends for two or three years. Whoever the girl is who joined our guild was, she didn't feel like the one who trapped me in this plane. She said was going away "for now" so I think she means to return. Unlike Azealya, I think it's still oo-kee to see her as a friend."
His words were only so sincere. Like some of the others, he too doubted if Asmoday was really ever who she claimed to be. He was starting to regret being so relaxed around her. What if she was the old Asmoday and managed to get ahold of Qi's summoning keys? He could only imagine how awful that would have been.
"That said, if you're to get her back from these mages, you'll need the full force of Renascence behind you. Master Validus and his guild overcame many struggles they thought were possible to overtake, but they only could because they did it together. You and your friends already defeated Samson. I don't see why you can't make another miracle possible."
He began to speak to him in a hushed voice, perhaps cautious of others listening in.
"If you need to know more about the dark mage Asmoday, I can tell you what I know. Just ask Qi to summon me later. Oo-kee?"
---
"Evil?" the odd man asked, tilting his head at Jericho. "Asmoday, that kind, sweet yirl who was taken away, is probably evil, yes. Is she the ancient bitch I know? Maybe! Maybe not! Haha! But I am not evil! I only know how to have to fun! For I am Achleez, the Eternal Night!"
"Achlys," Monkey muttered with wide eyes, obviously recognizing the name.
When the mages challenged him, Achlys only continued to smile. He stroked his beautiful beard and rose upward as dark mist pooled at his feet. He looked down upon the mages as through they were children.
"Renayscent?" the odd man asked Mark. "Why does that name sound so fami-yar? Ah! I know! It is the name of that yield I was yust at, the one my little bastard son Endeemiyon is part of! Haha! How very funny! He is yoing to send them all to their deaths soon!"
It seemed like a child's game to him. The lives of the Renascence mages were worth the same as insects. However, he seemed to at least partically acknowledge some misery they might be feeling.
"To keep yoour minds at peace until then, I will leave yoou with a yift! Rather than a chocolate cake, I yive you a happy dream! It is in store for all of yoou when next yoou yo to sleep! It won't end until yoou wake up! Haha! Yoodbye and yood night!"
Achlys's body collapsed into dark, black mist that flowed out throughout the open meeting hall, perhaps even reaching Azriel and Aether. It went to the outside, reaching to where Alden and Dofun had fought before as well. It seeped into the floor until it appeared to be no more.
A feeling of dread and anguish would wash over the group. They would understand something awful was going to happen to them, but they wouldn't be able to know what it was exactly. Elrond might have heard Qi sigh and smile as a faint glow appeared on her face for a moment. It was the same shape as the skull that appeared on her face back in the Harvest Festival when she was under the spell of a particular jar of sand. She slept well, perhaps due to her previous exposure to the magic, but the others would find themselves trapped in tormenting nightmares whenever they chose next to fall asleep. For Druid, the nightmares would already begin.

"Hey, there you are, you ready to- oh..."
For a moment Alden was glad to see that Asmoday was fine and well, assumedly having tricked that other girl with an illusion. Then it became clear that instead, it was everyone left behind that was being tricked. Alden's expression lost any emotion, and the boxed lunch gift he had pulled out, he put back in his bag. By the time she was gone for good, he didn't have much a chance to figure out what had happened in this place, because already there was talk of a new situation and threat by Jericho.
After the fellow said his piece, Alden addressed him about as directly as he could.
"Ey yo wait, so... did we pass evaluation? Is Renascence an official guild or what?"
While he was hoping for an answer which would at least give some solace through all that had happened, instead he was rewarded with an onset sense of gloom which he couldn't explain. All he could think of, was the loss of some of those closest to him.

Two hours had passed since the rogue mages known as the Oracion Seis had infiltrated the Magical Council HQ and escaped with their prize.
The mages of Renascence had been gathered not in the meeting room, for that place was still in pieces, rubble scattering the ground. Instead, they met in the dining hall, except for the ones injured or unconscious, such as Qi and Druid, who were resting in the infirmary, but could awake and join the group at any moment. Every mage was offered a seat in the center long table and there were drinks there for them if they wished.
Any Council members available would also be at the table, such as Jericho Edengrail, who sat near Mark with his arms crossed and his pipe alight.
At the very end of the table sat Mark. Three mages were at his side, medical mages, who had just finished working on his hearing.
"Can you hear?" asked one of the mages, soft but clear.
"I can," confirmed Mark, nodding.
"It will still take time for it to heal fully," said the mage, "but there is no permanent damage."
"I inflicted it myself," said Mark. "I made sure it was nothing that you could not heal."
With that, the three medical mages took their leave past the long table and all of the mages and out the tall doors at the end of the dining hall. Mark was silent for a few minutes, perhaps getting used to hearing once more, or just to let all of the events settle in, before speaking.
"Before I say anything," said Mark, "I first want to thank you mages of Renascence for doing all you could in protecting the Magical Council. You followed my commands well, and for that, you have my thanks."
Jericho didn't appear quite as optimistic, and upon seeing his face, Mark's tone went grim as well.
"But there is still much worry. Your guild mate, the one named Asmoday, has been taken from you, but if the illusion was real, and Jericho has told me what it said, then she chose that path on her own."
Elrond didn't even both to complain. He was still in a terrible state, seeing Asmoday taken from him, seeing how much the rest of his guild had suffered while he sit in a comfy chair with wine and roaring fire, injury free. He just let Mark speak.
"But the crimes the Oracion Seis have committed can not and will not ever be forgiven. They have destroyed our building, stolen our secrets, freed our prisoners and harmed our allies. They are as much of an enemy to me as they are to you all. Now is not the time to act, however. It is rare for me to say so, but we need to plan. They may just be a small coalition of dark mages, but their power cannot be taken lightly; look what they have done in just a few hours."
"We won't let them walk free," assured Jericho to the mages, but mostly to Elrond.
"Of course not," added Mark. "The capture and persecution of the Oracion Seis will be our main goal from here on. We will send horses tonight to alert all mayors of all major towns and villages. If any of their group is seen, even a glance, a battalion will be sent to hunt them down." He doubted the group would cheer for his conviction. He came to realize long ago that individuals were much harder to rally than wide groups of townsfolk. Thus, he added in: "And if we find your friend, and if she wishes to flee, she will be returned to you."
"We'll find her on our own," said Elrond, his voice just loud enough for Mark to hear. "Ian has already left, and we will be joining him soon enough."
"I won't allow it," said Mark sternly. "If any mage dares to take the law into his own hand, I will not hesitate to make them enemies of the Magical Council. I do this not to prevent justice, but to protect those foolish enough to wander into the hands of these powerful foes. If Ian... if Ian wasn't my brother, he'd be convicted this very moment."
"It isn't like we're a Guild, at least in your eyes," said Elrond.
"Would you not wish to be?"
That made Elrond pause. He remembered for the first time in the last couple of hours the entire reason they'd come to Era in the first place.
Mark stood from his chair. "As Mark Nightingale, Rank 1 of the Magical Council, I hereby declare the Guild of Renascence official. From this moment on they shall be an ally to the Magical Council and to the wishes of Fiore, and from this moment on they shall receive missions from the nation, and rewards equally so. This declaration is binding until the Magical Council decides otherwise."
Elrond couldn't believe it. It was something he had always wished for, something he always wanted. It was the proof he needed to show his father that his goal, his dream, was not in vain, that his ancestor, Validus, had not died because of the Guild, but for the Guild. Now it was his turn to lead. But his happiness did not last long as the worries of the threat of the Oracion Sies returned to haunt his mind. But he had to remember, Asmoday said she would leave for now.
For now.
She would surely return, just as she had left. If Elrond had to learn anything, it was to trust his Guild mates.
Mark sat back down and lifted a goblet of wine to his lips. "Though there may be a storm ahead of us, let us celebrate while the sun still shines." Before taking a drink, he raised the goblet high in the air. "Celebrate, my friends, for on this day, you are the a guild within the Council's eye! Welcome, Renascence, to the world!"
---
The Guild would be allowed to stay the night in the Magical Council HQ, but by morning they'd be asked to leave, and Mark himself promised Elrond that if they got any word on the Oracion Seis or Asmoday, he'd send a letter post haste.
Elrond wasn't sure to believe him, but accepted his fate. He'd gather his mages upon a flying mass of rock, even the ones who may still be asleep, and would, slowly, fly back to the small town of Elm and his home of Renascence with none of the enthusiasm of which he had displayed on the trip previous.
While during flight, Elrond promised himself he would not allow what happened on that day previous to ever happen again, and if it did, he would strip himself of his power, of his rank as Guild Master, and accept the fate his father promised would one day happen.
His dreams that previous night had been sure to remind Elrond of all his father had said, and if Elrond remembered, he might have associated the nightmares to the strange figure Achyls, but he did not. He only thought of his father, his future, and his failure.
OC: Feel free to post any final posts you want. They can be during the final meeting with Mark or on the rock heading back to Elm, or anything, but for all purposes, this thread is finished.
