Your area was very strange mise. You had just a red haze over everything while everyone else had little dots.
Should I just put a red dot over every island in that area?

I had the haze because I couldn't be bothered to draw more islands on the map. My territory was supposed to consist of many islands, but there were only few in the New World so I just colored the genereal area where all the islands are located. Even my main island (the dark dot) isn't on any of the islands on the map. All the other islands aren't really that important and there isn't much in there either, not even defenses, they are there just for the show.

We have some encounters! It seems Ky has sailed north and ran into one of Kuro's ships and islands. Elsewhere, Kuro has also ran into the rogue, Hito!

Hey guys, a word about the war thread.
At the rate we are going, I fear we will never finish this war, haha. Perhaps the one move per turn thing, while it sounds good in theory, just takes too long to play out, especially when we have dozens of units all over the map.
So, it is my opinion that we, for the most part, forget the turn system, and just RP as usual. Of course, we can still use the map to show who is attacking where, and we'll keep it sensible so one unit doesn't appear half way across the world in one turn, but otherwise, we'll RP just like regular.
Of course, it is ultimately up to you guys.

I agree. Maybe we should more move per turn? Like two or three spaces?
But yeah, at the rate of the battles lasting, I'd suggest battles now should be fights to the death. Though death or other means, the other side should be taken over. What do you guys think?

I don't think removing the turns would speed up things a whole lot if we want to keep events happening in a logical order. And I'm not sure about forcing the battles to end in 'death' either as that forces people to RP in certain way.
No matter how we do this it will take a long long time.

I feel as though the delay is at least partially my fault.
I'm so sorry for not posting often enough, everyone. The fact is, the war posts are probably the hardest to write for me, and thus I need to space out more time in order to write them. The fact that they tend to be rather long, especially the Sector 10 fight, doesn't help matters much either.
Like Mise, though, I can't really see an easy way out of this. As of right now, I'm finding it hard just to find the time to post in the regular threads, with school work, other posts, theatre stuff, and, most recently, intensive research for the Website are consuming more or less all my time. Hopefully, I can write up a post tomorrow. No promises as to whether or not it will actually happen, but I do promise to try.

Perhaps we can move on with the war while you finish your bout with Kuro.
So we can have other things happening without having to wait and can progress the war further. I still don't think the moving units around like a game piece is anything that really helps make the war any more fun.
I would say, we announce our 'attacks' or whatever and then start threads for them, as long as the attack could occur reasonably.
