I could get into a Zelda RP, it seems interesting. I would think that it would be rather lighthearted compared to the other RPs, especially if it were cartoony like Shark suggested. I have interest in CJ's setting, in that way we would have a strict goal and ways to achieve that goal and not just be adventure adventure, although there is nothing wrong with adventure.
I wonder, would we have conventional Zelda dungeons with bosses and all that or something not so strictly similar to the game?

If we're really going through with the Zelda RP, dibs on playing a Gerudo. DEM AMAZONS.
Seriously though I think CJ's idea is amazing. I was having trouble seeing a game so focused on one character (Link) working as a team RP, but now I can totally see it.

I'll understand if you want to curse my name and banish me forever for this, but I've never actually played through an entire Zelda game. (then again, I've hardly played entirely through any video games, but that's a different matter.) However, I will say that I know enough about the universe and the stories to follow along in an RP, so as long as the plot doesn't require too much intensive knowledge of the Zelda world, I'll join in.

I will endlessly make fun of her. You, however, should not have to worry. I'm glad I could transform Rinji's idea into something plausible. I would really love to work with the Ocarina of Time universe. I think for this RP, characters in the Zelda universe like the chicken lady and other nameless, minor characters could used as player characters. What do you guys think of that?

I think we still have the issue of currently having two functioning RPs, so it's questionable if there's room for another.
Also didn't we have other RPs on backlog?

Yeah, we do have other ones we have to consider. However, if there is enough interest for any particular RP, we could always move it to the top of the list.

That's fine by me.
We do still have to active RPs though.

Someone should go through this thread and compile the list of current RP suggestions by A) when they were suggested and B) how many people had an interest in them, just so we know how many we've already got waiting.
Maybe have a poll for which one should be next, too.
And by someone, I mean CJ.

And by someone, I mean CJ. Also, here is the list of RP's majorly considered: Skyrim Baccano-esque Voodoo My Little Pony Legend of Zelda We need synopsizes for the first two so I can post them appropriately in a separate thread. Ticky's already wrote the My Little Pony one. I can write the Zelda one.

>List of RPs seriously considered >Not New Vegas God damn it. Also no Shoes consideration. Double damn it. Star Wars RP --- So once and for all so we can be sure, we are not seriously considering Roller Coaster Tycoon? I thought someone was of a mind to do Soul Eater at one point as well. Although I could just start throwing out suggestions by that point. Like the World Maker game.

for the baccano-esque voodoo thing I think the premise was:
A train (or loverly steamboat) en route from Chicago to New Orleans (or vice versa) turns into an old-fashioned murder mystery when the conductor/captain dies, while would-be hijackers, mafioso criminals, twisted voodoo practitioners, and random psychopaths all have their own bloody plans for the trip. And let's not forget the ghosts awaiting them at their destination...
Got no clue about the Skyrim one, never even played it. /shittygamedesignstudent

Skyrim would basically take place like the main game, but with anyone playing as full-on characters. Some pre-determined number of of characters would be dragonborn, which would later be revealed at random. From there the characters work as a group to help one another in their quest.
Basically Fallout but fantasy setting.

I'm most interested in the Baccano! or Zelda RPs. Those just seem to have the most potential, in my opinion.

Sorry about that, Shark. I'll definitely take the Roller Coaster Tycoon and SHOE ones and put them on the list if you write a synopsis for them. I was half asleep and only taking from the ones discussed in the topic that stood out.
And thanks for writing that one, ticky.

NO BIG the shoe game is probably not feasible anyway given it's tabletop nature.
As for Roller Coasters, well you work as employees in the park and shit goes crazy. You have to try and keep the park running and the guests happy while everything goes wrong.
Also I feel compelled to mention the world maker game for which there seemed to be some interest. In the game the players are gods and together work to create a world, and rule over it. Over the ages their interactions determine how they/their religion holds up.
