The world is a large, fantastic place. It has enough room and resources to provide for billions of people and still have more to give. Countless cultures and peoples live on it, each with their own set of standards and archives of stories. And in each of those cultures are hundreds or millions of people, each with their own tale. It is impossible for mortal beings to fully understand life on such a scale. To imagine that one other person has had as many memories and experiences as you is difficult enough, after all.
That is why it is so easy to kill others.
On Feburary 15th of Year One of the New Age, an explosion occured in the center of Arkady Castle on the night of the Sixth Meeting, a night when rulers of different nations and ideals were to come together and work for the peace of the world. The blast killed 23 Victorians and nearly killed everyone else in the room. The blast was the work of the Regalan King, but the war was declared when Claudia, ruler of Galatae, accepted the duel of Slythe Arkady, chairman of Arkady Industries. Inevitably, the other countries represented at the meeting were pulled into the upcoming, horrendous conflict. On that day, one explosion caused thousands in the future, the first domino to topple over and cause a war that would leave only destruction in its wake.
The three nations of Regala, Galatae, and Vengeance created an alliance to fight against the massive techno-corporate empire of Arkady Industries, which in turn incorporated Ibaia into its world power. The warrior empire and nation of Coryphaeus and Ravunya, both powerful inhabitants of the New World, allied together to take advantage of the war and instill their own ideals into whatever lands they could seize.
The World War has begun. The blood of millions will be shed and the tears of billions will not be able to stop it. The Grand Line is no longer a sea of adventure and wonder; it is a place of horror and destruction. The misery will not stop, nor will the death. The only thing the people of the world can hope for is for the conflict to end. But the question is, when the spirits have broken and the world has shattered, who will be the one left to pick up the pieces?
Each nation will have the number of fleets the players think is appropriate for them. Each fleet has a supply line that is connected between it and the land they come from. The supply lines can be severed by having an enemy fleet sail onto or through it. If a fleet survives a battle and has an intact supply line, the fleet will be able to be in top and ready condition for the next battle. If a fleet does not have an intact supply line, then it will fight the next battle in the same condition it was left in at the end of its previous fight. The supply lines can only be reconnected if the fleet goes back to the country it came from.
Each fleet can move one space. It is NOT turn-based. Players will send a PM to Hito about their move so that Hito can see if their fleets bump into anyone. This makes it so that enemies do not know where their enemies are moving. Countries of an alliance can speak to each other of where their fleets are going. At the end of the phase, when everyone has sent a PM to Hito, Hito will say whether or not anyone landed where and whether or not any sea battles occurred and whether or not any supply lines were broken.
When fleets meet or when a fleet lands onto an enemy territory, a battle will ensue, which will be made as a different thread. In the battle, the player will post the actions of their troops and of the commanding NPC of that group.
If people wish to change this, then feel free, some things are still uncertain.
