I really really REALLY liked the superhero RP we had going at MG. It's one of my all time favs (below betty's custom one that had awesome potential).
Could we by any chance start that up again? Only this time we'll be more careful not to make big story changing decisions that upsets everyone without discussing it first. I do think that was what went wrong last time, wasn't it?
I don't remember; I just remember loving that RP.

Yeah, I think a superhero one could work if we just keep it simple and straightforward. Come to mention it, I actually know of some systems which can be used to run a heroes game, if people would like that.

Do it. Do it now! I demand such things.

A working superhero RPG is a must! I cried tears of sadness when the other one didn't work.

I think the best person to run it would be shark. Just because he did a spectacular job last time..

Well the way it works is, we could either do this like a straight up RP, as we usually do. That would be the easiest and we could start work on that like, TODAY.
However if we wanted to do it with a system, rules and mechanics, like with HERO, Mutants and Masterminds, Neccessary Evil, DC Adventures, just to name a few systems we would need to obtain those books, probably as PDFs or some other file format so we can all share it. If anyone can download or find any of those, then we can get underway with that.
Otherwise, it'd probably just be better to default to the usual format.

To be honest, I prefer the way we were doing it before

Then we'll do it that way. But if we do I don't know then if I'm the best person for it.

I like the HERO format with the mechanics and all. I can probably find the books but I make no promises
Edit: I now have pdfs of Mutant and Masterminds stuff as well as some of the dc adventure stuff.

Awesome newb. I've heard great things about Mutants and Masterminds, though I am more familiar with DC Adventures, having played it myself.

Is this still in the works, or has it faded into obscurity? I love Super Hero RPG's and I would very much like to have one here. Were we thinking of having Canon or just originals?

I think there's interest but we have three active RPs at the moment so we're waiting a bit for things to even out.

Bumping because the skype discussion. Like I said to Shark, I have so many ideas rolling around in my head for a huge new setting, or we could just set it in an already existing universe of superheroism.
I understand that we have three different major RP threads going on and that so far I haven't quite shown my ability to post a novel, but I am quite capable of doing so and with me resigning from my position as a Dungeon Master on another forum of role playing, I would have quite a lot of time to devote to this exciting undertaking.

I'd say set up a single thread in the General Section and see what kind of results it gets.

I'd love to do this. I'll discuss it more late night Thursday.
