Haven't had a thread like this in a while. I figured I better start one up.
Spoiler free thoughts:
This is the first Marvel movie I've seen with about zero information going in. It sort of reminded me of seeing the last Harry Potter movie, being the only book I hadn't read of that series. I think I lucked out because I didn't have any prior expectations to alter my experience.
As with many Marvel movies, this one is made for two audiences, casual movie goers and fans. I've heard from some American comic enthusiasts that the movie characters vary in personality from their comic counterparts. I'm not sure if this was a good or bad thing, but the characters worked really well. I won't say how, but they're very different from how trailers and marketing portrayed them to be.
Also, the soundtrack of this movie is fantastic. It might be because I'm a fan of old pop, but it was incorporated very well in the film.
I say go and see it. It's well worth your time. On a side note, it's pathetic that Marvel can turn such an unknown property into an Avengers tier level movie but DC can't even get Superman right.
Spoilers for the audience reaction to the after credits scene, not what was in it:

It was pretty funny. I was spoiled for it going in so I knew what was coming. The audience all made collective "what's" and left the theater pretty confused. It was a nice alternative to the "here's something from the movie coming after this one scene" and I think it'll be cherished in the long run.
