Name: Adrius Demos
Gender: Male
Age: 1012
Birthday: December 21st, 949
Birthplace: Lykandos
Current Place of Residence: Bradford, Pennsylvania
Height: 5'10"
Weight: 168 lbs
Build: Slender, yet muscular in the fashion of a peak human. When wearing his robes, he looks of slight build, which can be misleading.
Hair: White
Skin: A light brown pigment to it, obviously of Grecian descent.
Eye Color: Blue
Blood Type: O
Species: Human
Alignment: Good, a "Superhero"
Personality: Adrius is a wise man with his vast age, though he is very resigned to the fate of the world. He has seen too many wars to be an optimist but he continues to fight the good fight. The elder man has little time to for the trivialities of others, and does not quite like many modern amenities. One thing he does like is a good riddle, which is a shame, since he's heard so many of them.
Weapons and Gadgets:
Archmage's Pendant: A pendant sealed within the body of the High Archmage, signifying that they are the High Archmage. It allows them to live countless years beyond their normal lifespan and connects them to the ley lines of the universe. When a new High Archmage is chosen, it is the final act of the last to seal the Pendant within the new one.
Stave Supremus: The staff wielded by the High Archmage since magic was first discovered and the position was created. Spells can be channeled through it to enlarge or empower them intensely. Is also rumored to amplify the powers of anyone else, regardless of origin. Can be summoned to the High Archmage at will.
Collar of Juggernauts: This collar was once worn by a huge Ottoman warlord, enchanted with the power to remain in place when stricken with powerful blows. He was not prepared for the magic of the High Archmage when he began slaughtering innocents in the town Adrius was currently calling home. He wears it in combat only, and it usually sits within his cottage.
Robes of the High Archmage: Magical clothing that with a thought can be made to look like any other type of clothing. Does not effect other magical artifacts being held.
Abilities: The trials one must undergo before becoming High Archmage require one to undergo rigorous physical training. He does not often participate in combat, but his strength should be considered a little bit below a peak human. In years, his agility and speed are quite average. Because he uses magic, he's come to rely on that instead of his own physical ability.
Power Origin: The High Archmage was created when the world was young by things that were not perhaps wholly human. Who the first few were are lost to history, though there was one named Mab who was rumored to have gone mad, and another named Merlin who is the most prominent in legend. Most who hold the title were born under significant stars or were chosen to be redeemed for past transgressions by living out a long life helping others.
Specifically, Adrius was a warrior fighting for Lykandos against invaders, and he was particularly brutal in his killing. Though he will not admit it, he even killed women and children in his younger days. When set upon a village in which the current High Archmage was living in, he pleaded for a good death, but the new Archmage wished for his cruelty to be played out to him again and again for a thousand years before he would know peace from what he had done. It had taken years of teaching, and beating, and finding after an escape or two, but Adrius eventually came around to the High Archmage's way of thinking.
When the successor next awoke, the pendant was sealed inside his body and ashes lie next to him, the last Archmage having done the need overnight.
Powers: Adrius has the ability to cast nearly ever known magic in the known universe, but that does not necessarily mean he knows how to or will do so. Typically, he focuses on the physical force aspects of magic. He is favorable towards ice-based magic in combat just as well. Naturally, he uses magic to maintain his home and keep it clean and looking good, animating inanimate objects and keeping the fauna around it alive and happy.
He also has the power to contact magic-based cosmic-level forces and make deals if necessary. Perhaps to close the gates of hell for a price, or to call forth a dead hero who would be particularly useful.
Appearance:
Based off of this
Flowing locks of white hair and a grand white beard cover the face of this old and weathered mage. He wears a patch of his left eye, which was taken from him in a duel with one of his most terrible enemies. He wears a headband from his days as a young Lykandosian warrior that he has maintained for the longest time. His robes typically billow in the wind and when at home, that is what he wears. When out on the town or in public, his robes will appear as whatever someone believes he should be wearing. His skin and face are wrinkled with old age, and his remaining eye tends to glow a bright blue when casting magic.
Origin Story: (See Power Origin for first part)
After becoming High Archmage, Adrius traveled the world, even teaching others how to interact with the ley lines of Earth (though he would later come to know that this was a mistake). In his quest, he hid many magical artifacts away from the prying eyes of the masses, believing that only those he had taught were worthy of the powers that they bestowed upon those who held them.
He would be correct. Adrius' greatest mistake however, was believing he could trust any of his students. All of them plotted against him, and each took for their own an artifact in attempt to overthrow the High Archmage. Each one in turn, was sealed away with their respective artifact, essentially being bound forever to an inanimate object. It was in his last fight against his dearest student and wife, that he lost his eye to her own powerful magic. She would have been a worthy successor had she not shown a lust for power that the world would not see for a long time to come.
When all was said and done with the defeat of his students, the High Archmage disappeared from all record. Even those who knew about the supernatural world had no luck in finding him ever again. In truth, he had gone away to the New World when it was discovered and lived among the native tribes of the northeast, learning their ways. He has remained in that same spot of where he lived with a former tribe since then, in a cottage in the woods near a small, former oil boomtown called Bradford.
Goals and Dreams: After almost a thousand years of living, Adrius wishes to find a suitable successor to become High Archmage. He also wishes to make sure that all of his past mistakes do not come to haunt the world.

Name: Tundra (Rin Kobayashi)/(Akantha Demos)
Gender: Female
Age: 31
Birthday: June 5th, 1932
Birthplace: San Francisco, California
Current Place of Residence: Wilds of Pennsylvania
Height: 6'3"
Weight: 179 lbs
Build: Somewhat lanky and gangling. Clearly slender and appears to be malnourished.
Hair: White
Skin: Deathly pale white pigmentation, likely due to powers.
Eye Color: Blue
Blood Type: A-
Species: Human
Alignment: Evil, obviously a Supervillain.
Personality: Tundra has the rage and lust for revenge of two women scorned, one by her lover, and one by her people. When dealing with others, and in a position of power over them, she tends to play with her "food" and be rather seductive towards her male captives, before killing them. If interacting with others of the same alignment, Tundra is much the same, minus the killing part. Even with women.
Weapons and Gadgets:
Armor of Earthen Queens: The armor in which Akantha was sealed has the power to allow one to tunnel through the earth and manipulate it to an extent above the earth, allowing for quick tunneling and spires to rise up from beneath ones enemies.
Abilities: Rin was an excellent swimmer before she got her powers, making her quite dexterous and agile. She is not physically strong at all, but her powers make up for the lack in strength.
Power Origin: Akantha was the wife of the High Archmage Adrius, and one of his most prized students. In her lust for his power, she plotted with his other students to kill and divide the power of the Archmage Pendant, but her plans were foiled by a traitor in their midst. When all was said and done, Akantha was sealed within the artifact she had used to amplify her power. Many would come to wear this armor, much to Adrius' chagrin, but it never stayed bound to one person for long.
Rin Kobayashi was a young Japanese-American living in San Francisco, and working at her father's laundromat. When the Japanese internment camps were created. she and her family were told to pack up and go. She couldn't have been more than ten or eleven when she was whisked away, but her case was different. She and a few others were selected out of a group. She remembers hearing the words "potentially positive", but not much else. They were brought to a nuclear testing site, and were told to survive. Young Rin ran about the house as she saw the bomb in the sky hurling towards them, and found an underground freezer to crawl in. There were no cameras in there, and she was imagined to have been vaporized like many of the test subjects.
The young girl however, was not. When she emerged, her skin was white, and she was eternally freezing to the touch. All that she touched turned to ice. She survived on the fringe groups of society, occasionally helping to commit a crime such as bank robbery. When one could freeze the door, it would be easier to break open after all.
Powers: Rin's powers over ice are of radioactive origin. Something within her used the ice as a shield and kept her from being vaporized. Now, Rin has the ability to touch and freeze anything. Over the years she has even developed the ability to manipulate the air and weather around her into a blizzard. Because of this, she has become a national level threat, but not the highest on the charts by any means.
See the weapons and gadgets for Akantha's powers. Unless unsealed, Akantha has no access to the magic she once employed.
Appearance:
Based off of this
Rin is a tall woman with long hair kept in a huge braided tail. The armor that she wears covers up most of her body, which has been maimed from battle with the High Archmage and various other heroes in her years wearing the armor. The armor itself has turned a bright blue color on the gauntlets from being attached to the focal point of her icy powers for so long. The bottom of the armor has come to resemble a stone dress merging into the sleek, metallic material that makes up most of the magical armor. It has little to no denting in it, due to the fact that it can only be destroyed by the Hammer of Earthen Kings, which is in a far off place. Furthermore, destroying the armor would allow Akantha to escape.
Origin Story: (See Power Origin)
Rin took to a ship to her family's homeland, fifteen years after the war had ended. She saw them rebuilding, but still hid away. In places still in rubble, she found an ancient opening into a strange cavern. Whispers of power and revenge assaulted her mind as she entered, and it lead her to the inner sanctum of this cavern. Words carved out had long since faded, and the warning Adrius had left for whoever found the armor this time failed once again to keep them from it.
What progress was made in Nagasaki that day was torn down once more as the power of the earth brought the buildings down around them. The incident was hidden from report, but Adrius felt the surge of magic power as he always did when Akantha was freed yet again. Truly, humans could not stop destroying each other, which made her continued escapes possible as her prisons were unveiled time and time again.
Taking the name Tundra, the powerful duo of women did battle with Adrius several times. He once even managed to pry most of the armor from her, but at great cost to the High Archmage. His hands were frostbitten and he was unable to continue the battle. It allowed Tundra to retrieve the pieces of armor once more and continue her spree of villainy.
After a period of silence, she seem to have returned, this time targeting Adrius' very home, and all that surrounded it.
Goals and Dreams: Revenge upon humans. Revenge upon Adrius.
