Alright, so there's been an issue of late because of what happened in the Main thread and it's just made clear that there's an underlying problem that has happened before and could happen again. So I propose we make an official rule that we actually have to follow. Not one that is followed depending on who the person is or how we feel at the time. So here it is: Posting Time Limits By default, a member has 3 days (72 hours) since the last post to make their post. This time limit only applies if it is this member's turn in the post rotation, or if for special reasons it is the member's turn outside of the rotation, and that member has been informed of said special reason and situation. If the member fails to post, one of the following occurs: A) The member is skipped and not mentioned in the next post, simply ignored, or B) A moderator must post on behalf of said member, avoiding any major decisions if possible and simply allowing the thread to move along. Option B is only to be taken if option A is not possible. Because we're all people with real lives, this rule has an exception. If the member notifies staff that they are incapable of posting within said time limit, they may receive an extension of up to 4 days (96) hours, depending on the reason. If they fail to meet that deadline yet again, the above rule must be followed. K? K.

I, for one, like this idea. But no, not "K." We're not making this change unless the majority agrees on it.
We are definitely thinking of using this sort of method with the next main thread. We're already following this somewhat. Kaosu, for instance, has let me know he's not going to be returning for a few weeks so I've set aside plans for his characters to return.
Also, if you're confused or don't know what to post or, worse, feel like your character isn't significant enough in a thread, let the moderator know. This can be incredibly frustrating when it feels like your character is there for background purposes and nothing else, especially when there are a lot of people involved in a thread.

Did not mean the "k" in that sense and I regret putting it in there in the first place. It's of course a majority decision deal.
also, with the recent update post you made, this thread can be deleted.
