www.mangahere.com/manga/takamagahara/www.mangareader.net/takamagaharaOne of the newest series in jump, currently has 8 chapters. series revolves around Yamada Yamamoto who awakens his Divine Power, a super powered ability that lies dormant in every human on the planet, however most go through life without ever awakening it. And of course as soon as Yamada awakens his power we get more people awakening theirs and using them for villainous purposes that will of course require Yamada to stop them. So far it's pretty good.

It doesn't sound as good as Sensei no Bulge. No way it lost to this manga. I am the definition of disappoint.

I read the first chapter and to be honest it wasn't very interesting to me at all. The art wasn't that spectacular either. I think I'll have to pass on this for now.

there is only 9 chapters so it wouldn't take that long to read the remaining 8 but I would say read chapters 2 - 4 as its a short arc that shows of a person who uses there divine gift for villainous purposes. chapter 5 - 7 is a second short arc using the same method and 8 is where the story actually picks up and he's being recruited to hunt down those who sue their powers for evil and learn to use his own power.
i agree that chapter 1 isn't impressive but i do think it's worth reading since its currently so short.

Well, I just read all of the chapters. I've been trying to read other manga than the popular stuff (and trying to catch up on Toriko).
It's alright. It's not too bad. It's not too good.
The things I like: I love the enemies. They're creepy, in a good way. You really want these guys to be punched in the face. Some of the "finish him" moves are hilariously over the top. I like the girl character in particular, though I can't remember her name. I hope she and the gang member friend come back later. They were really the only characters I could get invested in.
The things I don't like: The main character... isn't interesting. He's written rather... boringly. I keep thinking of how much I care for Oga of Beelzebub or Astro from Bulge. Yamada just isn't that interesting.
Also, I can't connect that well with either sword guy or squirrel guy. I think it would have been better if they were introduced earlier in the manga. Like, how funny would it have been to discover the manga "Master" was an ability user?
Short story: I like the horror. I don't like the characters but I'll keep reading.

I'm really liking the squirrel guy. The ventriloquist is also starting to grow on me. However, I'm still not able to get into this manga as easily as I have with Assassination Classroom. I'm not sure why.
I feel there should be a little more at stake. I also want to get to know our protagonist's companions a little more than just "Oh, I guess they're here." I would have rather had his friend and the bully at his school join him. Ah well.

chapter 14 - www.mangahere.com/manga/takamagahara/c014/Chapter 15 - www.mangahere.com/manga/takamagahara/c015/the battle continues Ok I thought for sure that this would be them having conquered the school. due to its low rating i figures the author would try for a quick wrap up since it will most likely be cancelled but nope eh introduces four towers each with a leader. I really cant see this manga lasting long enough for the group to defeat all 4 of them even though I would like it to.
