I'll play as Mister Burke and Gob. After everyone else has chosen, I'll choose some of whose left and as Hito said, he'll play as whoever is left.

I can't possibly do any of the NPCs as I've never played the game, so YEAH. Good luck with that!
I am liking this so far though, even though I know next to nothing about the game itself outside of the wiki and youtube.

I could totally do Moira Brown, Doc Church, and Wadsworth if no one else wants them. By the way, excellent job to everyone for creating characters that actually feel like they should in the game. I'm working on finishing Fallout 3 as it as and you guys are doing awesome at making them feel natural, like I could actually encounter them in the gaem. IF YOU MOD IT YOU CAN. NPCs, I call Colonel Autumn, and then I'll search the wiki for other prospectives.

I get the distinct feeling that it's soon going to be Xero, cdf, and ticky kicking it up the high life in Tenpenny tower, while everyone else who found a reason not to be in town while the bomb went off scrape around the rubble and sleeps in the trash.
Fallout 3 in a nutshell, ladies and gentlemen.

Actually, I was going to ask if my character can "borrow" the radioactive material from the bomb so he can use it to blow up Tenpenny Tower.
In a nutshell.

If you can figure a way to do it, do it. Just try to stay in bounds of what is reasonable.

Well, in a larger cliff notes version, I was going to have my character attempt to negotiate with Allistair Tenpenny to allow the ghouls to stay inside Tenpenny Tower (Vincent wants to get rid of the ghouls within the Mall). When his negotiations fail, Vincent was going to hatch a plan to remove the radioactive material and create his own bomb (considering removing the actual bomb would be impossible). My character's intelligence is quite capable of doing such things, however, this is assuming his "condition" remains good lol. Also, this result would also save Megaton.
However, if anyone else had plans for the bomb, please, feel free to post them and we can discuss on what we can do .

I plan on disarming the bomb, if that's ok with everyone.
EDIT: to be more specific my plans are as follows:
Get Mr. Burke to reveal that tenpenny wants the place blown up and have Burke give him the device. Kill burke Disarm bomb but not tell simms about burke Go to tenpenny and start working for him to replace burke. Watch porn
.... then eventually take over tenpenny tower.

For example there's quests and the like, including to blow up megaton. However it is impossible in the game to blow up Tenpenny Tower. Given as an RP we are allowed freedom to do what we want, this could potentially bridge to further considerations as to just what we could do. An example off the top of my head, entailing the utilization of the Crawler to nuke wherever we please at will. This speaks to a comedic level of freedom which as an RP is fantastic, however the only problem I foresee with it is that certain actions and things that happen which we cause, might make it difficult to portray accurately. The previous example, that because you cannot feasibly destroy Tenpenny Tower in game, we don't have an accurate way of gauging how the game would actually continue from that point or how people would react. Similar to using the Crawler to nuke, say, Rivet City. While conceivably possible, I have no idea how we would incorporate a change like that into the RP. As an addendum, we could assumedly relegate game-changing effects to the end-game or epilogue. Like as I assume if and when this ends we each get our own little piece in the overall ending, Xero could include a bit about how in the end, his character accomplished the goal of destroying Tenpenny Tower and killing the ghouls. --- Just my two cents.

Well, that's my character's plan anyways. Of course I'll rp accordingly with whatever happens.
As for Nigga, wut.
Disarming the bomb's easy, 'specially for Alexander. As for going to tenpenny afterwards, he'll have some lie as to why Tenpenny shouldn't kill him. (Something like having a plan to destroy megaton without risking being attacked by wasteland outrage or something)
And as for your point: I think we should just forget the in-game quests. Those are just hindrances in a setting like this. Let's go with logic. If somebody say, nukes rivet city, then the waters of life quest si pretty screwed UNLESS sombody finds James, or his notes, and knows enough people with high enough science skill to continue it, yanno?
We don't need to follow the plot of FO3. Like with the one piece RP, we just take the universe and do what we want within its laws.

If we ever do plan on nuking someplace, we should probably have good reason to do it. As you guys were saying, it would really screw up a lot of possibilities for the RPG. It'll be interesting to see where this RPG goes.

If we throw the quests to the wind altogether then that is going to seriously mess up the RP, whether you want that or not. Just saying. It's my vote we keep them.

Basically, what I posted was my character's overall plan for the entire RP. I know the discrimination Tenpenny has for ghouls and I also know of how he wants Megaton to be nuked. I thought in my head (which I was going to post in here and we could all discuss) was wouldn't it be cool to have the opposite happen to Tenpenny? Of course there is no way of knowing how the world of Fallout would react to this, but again that is something we can all discuss, if that is the route we take. I am just throwing ideas out there. Also, just because this is my character's plan, with his condition, it might not even happen. I have not even decided yet if the ghouls he "uses" are even real. On a side note, my character just wanted to destroy the tower, not necessarily anyone in it. crocoduck, Both of are characters can disarm the bomb. All my character wants is the radioactive material. I am sure between are characters that we can figure a way out on disarming the bomb by removing the material.

When I said within the bounds of what is reasonable, I meant that we shouldn't effect the world on a grand scale (blowing up an entire town) without everyone accepting that. In the first few pages of the thread, our goal was pretty much to follow FO3 story, the water purifying, along with some other choices our characters felt like going on. We're not completely bound by the FO3 story, but that is partially the goal of at least the good characters.
If we go about doing what we please, there is not going to be a very cohesive story. We need a more solid goal if we want any kind of RP to happen. Otherwise, separate characters will go about doing what they want, and there will be no real interaction.
