I just wanted to apologize for my lack of posting on the Ticker Island thread. I've put aside my thoughts about it for too long.
Here's the deal. I want to continue this thread and I want to finish it, but I have to rework some things. I'm not sure if Kuro is going to return. If he doesn't (and I totally respect if he chooses not to), I'll have to rework the ending of this thread. As most of you know, a big part of this thread is about the "Mr. Dark Fan Club." Though I could totally finish the thread without Kuro's involvement, I'd rather wait and see, at least for the time being.
I'm sorry that I didn't pursue this issue further and I apologize especially to Franky who isn't involved in any other thread right now. Thank you for your patience in this issue.

Hey guys. I made an important decision about the main thread. It's a very positive decision.
Basically, I finally got down to talking with Kuro and he agreed that he doesn't have the commitment to finish this thread. He was very honest about it and I really appreciate what's he's done with us up until this point. I'll always hold the time we shared together fondly.
At this point, I want to cut this thread short. I need the Mr. Dark character to finish it effectively and I don't think it would be respectful to remove the character from the story or continue it as the character myself. Therefore, I plan on posting what I had intended the ending to hold. Obviously, I don't think this ending would have happened, as nothing ever goes as planned in an RP like this, but it should at least serve as a conclusion.
Going forward, I would like to have a "final thread" for our characters. It doesn't mean they all have to die, but I'd like a nice conclusion. If anyone would like to brainstorm ideas, feel free to do so now.
And again, thank you all for your patience in this matter.

Why would we have a "final thread" just because Kuro can't play anymore?

I should clarify. I don't mean a real final thread. I mean a thread to resolve whatever conflicts we might want. A "final thread" so to speak, to end the plotline of this current crew. We can still keep the same characters and still move forward, but I would like to have a nice resting point right now.

end the plotline of this current crew. Can you explain this in more detail? Does that mean, RP continues but crew disbands, or this current story arc. "Plotline of a crew" to me means the entire story progression of a crew. As for ideas, there's always the idea thread, or we could just do a more simple story on the fly, just for the purpose of wrapping things up. |

I think you're phrasing it a lot better. Just a simple story that could be seen as a nice conclusion. If things continue from there, then they do.

Ah well, I think it would be easier to plan something like that when we see how you choose to conclude the current thread, and Kuro's departure in-game.
