The Second Samurai! Evening Shower Kanjuro Appears! Catch it here. In this episode, we finally meet Kanjuro, who, amazingly enough, is both a character in One Piece and also one of the lead animators at Toei.

Kanjuro is a lead animator for Toei? And there's a character who is named Kanjuro whose power is to draw crappily? Oda making fun of Toei confirmed. (EDIT: Apparently this was just a joke Ky made. There is no lead animator named Kanjuro. LMAO.)
Anyway, I actually am going to watch these episodes weekly to get a better understanding of the anime side of One Piece. Overall, my expression of this episode is... that it's not as bad as I thought it would be. The manga's still miles better imo in terms of art and pacing but it was cool seeing some of these characters in action. I particularly liked how well Kanjuro's drawings fit with the animation. They look just as jarring as they did in the manga. That's pretty cool!
Also, what's with Cavendish's laser sword? Was that in the manga?
I can't wait to see more of Dellinger. What a bad ass. His girth escapes bad animation.

glad to see the filler this time was extended fights instead of the crap we got in 689. did they skip the left side of this page or did I just not pay enough attention? - mangafox.me/manga/one_piece/v76/c753/20.htmlthis episode ended on page 11 of chapter 754, so just slightly over half a chapter animated this episode. the manga doesn't show Cavendish using a laser sword or cutting the pathway, in fact there is no explanation at all for the pathway that I could see so I guess Cavendish slicing it up is as good an explanation as any.

Link doesn't show a page. T.T And only half a chapter! Jeez! And people wonder why I recommend the manga as a faster reading experience.

link works fine for me.
It's cavendish using his "Zan Exupery" move and Luffy using jet gatling on the footsoldiers just after Dellinger attacks Dagama.
