He's as fit as he needs to be to do well, but he is not particularly strong or powerful when it comes to his physical stature. His body comes off more as lanky than anything. The hair is cut very erratically, clearly cut at home by druid himself. The result of somebody who couldn't care less about how they look. Personality Description: Druid is a walking meatsack of raw curiousity. He wants to know as much as possible, simply because he loves the rush he gets when he learns something new. The more interesting and complicated something is, the more in love with it he is. He loves discovering and has dedicated his entire life to it, ever since he was a child. Interestingly enough, he hates building things. He has the knowledge and intelligence to build incredible gadgets, but building bores him. He only builds gadgets he needs, what he’s really interested in, is breaking things down and discovering how they work. This even applies to animals, surprisingly, despite his fierce protection of them. Druid is not big on loyalty, people or guilds. Unfortunately, however, his quest for the further understanding of magic requires that he interact with more mages, and that has led him to finally accept joining a guild.
Magic Type of Magic: Hybridization Magic Weakness: It’s a purely physical magic, which means it’s weak to energy and mental attacks and defenses. It’s also not instantaneous, or at least not unless the user drains a lot of their stamina. Slow transformations are very much telegraphed. Users can only transform into animals they've seen and studied the anatomies of (pictures included).
Magic Description: Hybridization magic is parallel to take over magic, but it is far superior. Hybridization magic allows its casters to alter their body and transform fully or partially into other animals, as well as doing so with multiple animal types at once. These changes can be big or small and often don’t make much anatomical sense, such as adding a feature to the human body that wouldn’t usually work simply by attaching a particular appendage or body structure. This magic can be used to transform the user’s body into any animal they’ve touched and understood, and because of which, it is only useful to those that commit a large amount of time finding different animals.
The speed at which this occurs ranges from very slowly (taking an hour) to very quickly (happening instantaneously). The speed depends entirely on how much energy the user wants to expend, the slower the transformation, the better. The base speed is roughly a 5 second transformation where the user floods the transforming parts with their magic before it all suddenly transforms, with no intermediary step.
Minor Magic: Ink Manipulation This is a very minor magic that gives the user slight physical and abstract manipulation over ink. This manipulation allows for basic ink control such as the creation of shapes and general movement of ink, but it also allows for abstract actions as well. Ink that is formed into words and images can be transferred to a body and used as a form of communication. The meaning of the words and the visual of the images that’s transferred to the body is instantly transferred to the brain, like a thought. This can be done at a much much faster pace than reading and allows for rapid intake of information and images.
Abilities Hand-To-Hand Fighting Style: Druid has a very basic fighting style, one that relies entirely on his reflexes, his knowledge and his magic. He transforms his body accordingly into different animal parts to assist him in a fight, and as such, he has no one true fighting style, as it all depends on what body parts he’s using, which also makes it very hard to predict . Personality: Bold, headstrong, and highly ambitious. Has a bit of an inflated opinion of herself, though she has a good grip on her own capabilities. Often speaks before she thinks. Is also remarkably greedy, thinking that if something is worth having, it’s worth having in excess. Despite her faults, however, she is nevertheless loyal to those she considers friends, and once she’s set on a task, it takes a whole lot to get her to give up on it. Those who aren’t friends, however, she has no problem with manipulating, if it will get her what she wants. Has a strong sense of honor in regards to her work, and has a short temper with those who look down on what she does. It may not look it at first, but she’s actually rather clever, and is always coming up with creative ideas to improve her situation, successful or otherwise.

Physical Abilities: Active and capable. She is able to work around most any level of treacherous terrain, and is much faster and more alert than most adults her age. In a physical encounter, Fyaria isn’t the strongest, and certainly isn’t any sort of combat specialist, but she can hold her own.
Magic Abilities: Fyaria utilizes Celsius magic, a rare form of magic that allows her to alter her own internal temperature, as well as heat or cool the environment around her to extreme degrees. She can use this magic offensively, by increasing the body temperature of opponents to intolerable levels, cooling them to near hypothermia, or using her heat-activated explosives. However, it takes longer for her magic to take effect on other living things than it does on herself or inanimate objects, and her powers are less effective at a distance, so she prefers to use other methods, mainly involving manipulating her surroundings to give her an advantage. She can also use steam as a weapon, both for attacking and a means of escape. Under certain circumstances, Fyaria can force hot air and cold air to collide, resulting in powerful wind-based attacks. Outside of fighting, her magic is even more effective, allowing her to survive any number of harsh situations. As she can regulate her own internal temperature to an extent impossible for other humans, she can easily survive conditions that would kill other people. Short of being actually set on fire, she has a functional immunity to attacks based on hot or cold.
Appearance: Smallish, but tough looking. Her demeanor always suggests a scrappy enthusiasm, and the various scratches and bruises she constantly wears only serve to further that image. She has medium-length hair, that she always keeps tied into a braid. While adventuring, she dresses very casually, usually just wearing a t-shirt, cargo pants, simple boots, and sometimes sometimes a light jacket, with her knife hanging at her hip. She keeps all her survival gear in a large blue backpack that she carries around. On her days off, however, she dresses in a gaudy, over-the-top fashion, that looks far more humorous than stylish. Her trademark is a simple orange bandanna, that she wears whenever she embarks on a new mission. She’s also rather fond of gloves, though she’s quick to take them off whenever she gets into a serious battle situation.
Background: Fyaria had a fairly normal upbringing, that was neither particularly happy or unpleasant. Her most notable feature as a child was her mischievous streak, which caused her to often get into trouble with her family and her neighbors alike. In an attempt to calm her down, her parents sent her off at ten years of age to live with her grandfather, who, in his time, was a fairly prominent magic-user. He taught her everything he knew, making her a competent mage herself. However, rather than instill self-control in her young mind, the experience only made her want to rebel more, and the magical power she gave formed her into even more of a local menace. She spent a good part of her youth gaining notoriety as a threat to all things decent and civil, which continued as she grew older. Many suspected her behavior was due to her cramped living conditions, others imagined some mental disorder, but most simply shrugged and avoided the subject whenever possible. One thing was certain, however, and that was there was much in life that she wanted, and was frustrated with her inability to take it for herself.
Once she turned sixteen, Fyaria went off on her own, hoping to find an effective means of using her power. As she lacked direction, she followed the advice of her family and decided to join the military, thinking that, with her magic, she could secure herself a good position. While her lack of discipline and her spirited nature caused her plenty of problems initially, her competence on the field shone through, earning her a small, but active, position. Finally being able to put her talents to use, Fyaria thrived for a short time, only falling short on the occasions where overconfidence got the better of her. For those years, it looked as though the little rebel that terrorized her town had finally earned a decent, honest living. Her fortune only lasted so long, and ended abruptly. One day, her unit was given orders to search a small village, near the edge of the nation’s borders. Ostensibly, certain inhabitants of the village were conducting secret meetings, that involved hushed talk of revolt. Not fully understanding the politics, and knowing her job was on the line, she initially didn’t think twice. Once her squad arrived, however, she found that it was nothing like what had been described. What she had thought was a den of criminals and usurpers was, by all appearances, a simple farming community, content with minding their own business. Still, orders were orders, and the military conducted an investigation all the same, and, while no evidence of treason was found, the investigation turned into an attack all the same. Through all this, the only thing Fyaria could do was watch, as her fellow soldiers opened direct attacks against civilians at even the most minimal provocation. While she never considered herself a particularly moral sort of mage, this direct act of aggression troubled her, in a way that she could not exactly put into words. What upset her far more was how casually her comrades carried out the task. Silently, she observed great deals of resources, that the community, made up largely of immigrants and poor laborers, had honestly farmed themselves, taken as evidence, while all that couldn’t be of use to the government or the soldiers was burned. Under the guise of justice, the military was conducting the sort of raid normally committed by bandits. While she was still young, and had yet to decide what she really wanted to be, she couldn’t, no matter how much she tried, picture herself being a part of such a force all her life. In a moment of impulsiveness, Fyaria fled without a word, and did not look back since. In the days that followed, a search for her was conducted, but after weeks of no results, it was accepted that she went missing, and she was largely forgotten.
In the months that followed, none had heard from Fyaria. It was as though she disappeared entirely. However, she would later come to be spotted in locations frequented by treasure-hunters and other fortune seekers. Slowly, her name began to circulate in those circles, and once more she regained her modest notoriety. Not long after that, she officially stepped back into the magical world, only this time as an independent adventurer and archaeologist. As some things never change, Fyaria had become an infamous menace and a troublemaker, only this time in an entirely separate field.
