Arx thanked the two monks at the gate for allowing him to enter, and said he didn't mind being followed by Oina, the monk with the big axe.
He walked up closer to the meteorite and inspected it. It was truly a beautiful, wonderful rock. He wondered what part of heaven it must have fallen out of. While observing the meteorite, however, he noticed two other monks, some wearing clothing similar to himself.
Looking closer, he noticed one looked strikingly similar to Lian, almost exactly. He gave a small smile and approached the mage, but didn't interrupt them. Instead, he simply listened and waited for them to finish speaking.
Meanwhile, Oina, the monk behind him, asked a very interesting question.
"Be patient, my friend," said Arx. "Perhaps you shall find out soon enough."
He then approached the Lian look a like and said, "Excuse me, young priest. You look very familiar. Do you, perhaps, recognize me?"

"Hmm... I understand." Brother Oina said when Arx dodged his question. Maybe he really did understand, maybe he didn't who knows? Nonetheless after this the monk just continued to silently follow Arx around, unless the Virtue of Patience were to do something suspicious. Then he would have no choice but to act. When Arx approached the familiar looking priest to ask him if he knew him the priest stared at him for a second and then said: "I'm sorry but you must be mistaken. I'm absolutely certain we have never met before. However now that we have met I should introduce myself. My name is Yiln and I'm a priest. Like I assume you to be as well. And this is Tys, he is the priest in charge of the local church. I also consider him to be my mentor." After having said this Yiln offered to shake Arx's hand and so would Tys, the older priest: "Nice to meet you." No matter how you look at it Yiln must have had some connection to Lian. Either he was lying about not knowing Arx or something very weird was going on in here. Maybe he was Lian's twin brother? Even that was very farfetched. Not only would both the brothers have received equally horrible scars they would have both also lived for centuries. "Did you come here to Stardust to look at this sacred star? No matter how many times I see it it's beauty always amazes me. Not that I have seen it this close very many times. Only recently have I gotten close enough to God so that I can pass through those gates."

Arx calmly listened to the young priest and then shook both their hands. "It is a pleasure to meet you, Ylin and Tys."
At the mention of the meteorite, Arx looked up at me and nodded. "It is indeed a beautiful sight. Unfortunately, I am not here to see it, myself. I am here to see someone, instead."
Slowly, Arx walked around Ylin until Ylin was between Arx and the meteorite.
Then, suddenly, Arx removed his huge turtle shell from his back and gripped a handle located inside it, holding it like a mighty shield. He then charged at Ylin at full speed, prepared to ram the man straight into the meteorite.
If this was truly Lian, this attack would be nothing. If it wasn't... well, Arx was prepared for that as well.

"I see. Unfornately there isn't much here within these walls but us priests, monks and maybe the occasional Holy Knight. If the person you seek isn't one of us you'd probably better to look somewhere else." While Ylin was talking Arx was preparing to tackle him in to the holy rock using his shell as a shield. Just a split second before Arx was about to hit Ylin punched the shell really fast. So fast that a normal person would have no hope to ever notice this. The punch really didn't have any power behind it, Arx probably wouldn't feel it through his shell. Something very unusual happened however as all of a sudden Arx wouldn't be attacking anymore and would be like he went back in time to the moment just before he was about to attack. If he wanted to Arx could have just attacked again just fine, but only if he decided to do so. Brother Oina was about to do something, gripping his axe heavily as Arx was about to attack, but when suddenly nothing actually happened only confusion was left on the face of the previously so stoic monk. Tys, the older priest was also very surprised at what had just happened and neither of them knew what to say or do. "It will start to rain soon. I think we should leave soon." Ylin said to Tys, acting like nothing had happened and then turned to Arx. "You should probably leave too. Unless you want to get soaked." "Yes. Let's head back." And so the two priests started walking towards the gates ready to leave the meteorite behind.

"Mmmmm," M pondered, "perhaps he is related to you. You certainly look alike."
Clutching onto her backpack straps, she blinked in surprise when the monk approached them. As he talked, she undid her backpack and pulled out a very long and very large umbrella. It was far too big to fit inside of the pack so perhaps she was performing a magic trick. As the monk stayed with them, she decided to prod the situation further.
"Who is God to you and your people?" she asked.
M frowned in strange solemness, as though she was testing their very faith and didn't want to disappoint them.

Arx was surprised when, suddenly, he was back where he started, just before the charge. He stopped himself, and instead simply attached the turtle shell back onto his back, tightening it with a belt.
"That was my answer," he said with a pleasant smile. He then called out to Ylin. "Excuse me, monk, but if it is not too much trouble, I'd enjoy learning more about this holy rock. My previous guide isn't allowed to come in, you see. Come to think of it, you actually look quite similar to him..."
"Anyway, if you'd allow one of my dearest friends to enter into this holy place, would you please tell me what you know of this rock?"

"What would you like to know about the fallen star?" Ylin asked, while making his way towards the gates, ready to leave the holy stone behind. Father Tys walked along him. If Arx were to keep the conversation going he would need to follow them. "I'm sorry but I have no rights to let anyone through, only the monks are allowed to do that and I have never seen anyone but a man of god pass through these gates." "There was one woman who they let pass thirty or so years ago... However that was a very special case, so I don't think you can get your friend in here." The elder priest Tys explained. It was probably easier to sneak by the guards if Arx wanted to get his friend inside. --- "What is God? God is the creator of world, life and everything. He is a benevolent and almighty being that watches over His creations." The monk gave his answer to M and then continued on his way towards the meteorite. "I'm sorry but I must resume my duties now." "Miss Emm. I think that priest might be the man you are looking for." Ardyn said as he pointed at father Ylin, the man who was a spitting image of Lian, who just now, along with father Tys, exited the gates protecting the meteorite. Meanwhile the rain clouds slowly drifted towards the town of Stardust and from the looks of it it would only be couple of minutes until the pouring would start.

"Mmmmm," M said in response to the monk, "your faith is a just one. Goodbye."
Thinking for a moment, she tapped her enormous umbrella against the ground. Ardyn interrupted her thoughts, however, and alerted her to Father Ylin's presense. A smile came over her face and she reached for Ardyn's hand, wanting to take him with her to see her friend.
"Lian!" she called out. "Did you see Arx in there? He's been looking for you! Is that your new friend?"
She looked eagerly to Father Tys. She spoke as though Ylin and her were long time friends and had only just recently seen each other.

As Ylin and Tys exited the gates from the meteorite, Arx followed along. He was hoping to keep Ylin inside and wait for M to enter, so they could figure out what to do with this strange fellow, but luckily they ended up leaving and meeting M outside.
He heard M call out to Ylin, calling him Lian. "Hello, friend M," said Arx, appearing behind the priests. "I am afraid I could not locate Lian, but this fellow here," he motioned to Ylin, "certainly is interesting."
"If you wouldn't mind, dear Ylin, it would be fantastic if you stuck around and talked to me and my friend here." Ylin might have noticed a bit of pressure coming from Arx's tone.

"Hmm? I'm sorry, but you must be mistaken, miss. I'm not this Lian you're looking for. My name is Ylin. This Lian has been the talk of the town for the past week, because of the rumors. But why would you ever want to meet with a person like that? I can tell you about your friend, however. He should be arriving any moment now." And so he did as Arx exited the gates in just a brief moment. Without saying a word to the man who he had been keeping an eye on, brother Oina stopped following the virtue of Diligence and now had resumed his duties of guarding the gate. "Hmm... Very well." Despite hesitating for a moment Ylin did agree to stay here for just a little while longer to talk with these strangers that were eager to have a chat with him. Father Ylin understood despite trying to avoid it he would probably get soaked by the rain. "Please go on ahead." Ylin spoke to his colleague Tys, who nodded and then made his way forward. "Umm... Miss Emm, Father Arx, I just remembered something and I must bid you farewell for now. I hope we can meet again sometime. I'm sorry I couldn't give you a better tour." Ardyn spoke, with a very worried look on his face and then started running away from the group. "So then what do you want to talk to me about?" As Ylin asked this the rain started. For now it was just a drizzle, nothing to worry about, but it would grow stronger and stronger. Other than the monks guarding he heavenly rock only a handful of people remained outside.

"Really?" M asked Arx with a pathetic frown.
Undoing the straps on her umbrella, she prepared to open it up.
"Are you sure the rumors weren't started because of your appearance?" she asked Ylin. "You look so much like him."
Right before she could open her umbrella, Ardyn decided to leave.
"Oh, goodbye!" M said in surprise. "Goodbye, Ardyn! And thank you!"
By this time, she finally had her rainbow colored umbrella open. It was enormous, covering Ylin, Arx and M completely. It was a wonder how M could possibly hold the umbrella or balance it the way she did. It looked extremely heavy.
"Arx should speak first."

Arx unlatched his giant turtle shell and held it above his head like an umbrella. If anyone paid close enough attention, they'd notice the rain didn't actually hit the surface of the shell, but flowed around it as if there was an invisible force field.
"Yes, M, I believe Ylin here is someone special. Someone we need to know more about." He focused on Ylin. "Back at the meteorite, you reversed time. I saw it, and so did everyone else. Do you know who we are? We're two of the Virtues, Arx and M. And the person who has the power over time, that virtue is named Lian, and he does exactly what you just did. There has to be a reason for that, doesn't there?"

"What do you mean? I look nothing like this Lian. I have seen the wanted poster before and we look nothing alike. I guess he had a scar on his face like me, but it wasn't as large as this one and he even had both of his eyes. Sadly I lost one of mine when I was attacked by bandits when I was young. I barely made it out alive." Despite all the accusations and weird questions father Ylin remained calm and collected.
"Reversing time? I have no idea what you are talking about. I saw you doing something weird back there, but I did not do anything. And I don't think you're the criminals you claim to be either. You don't look anything like the people described in the posters. I still have no idea what you two want from me." Ylin seemed confused as if he really did not have any clue of what was really going on. That or he was just lying and understood everything that just had been said, which would not have been out-of-character behavior for Lian. Though cracking him would be very hard as they didn't call him the Virtue of Patience for nothing.

"He reversed time?" M asked with wide eyes. It seemed all too apparent this man was Lian. He looked exactly like him and apparently had the ability to alter time. Who else could he be?
M held in a laugh when Father Ylin mentioned the wanted posters.
"Oh, those posters are so silly! Their designs are incredibly beautiful but they look nothing like their subjects. You know, if you're Lian, you should know better than to lie, especially to friends. Are you sure you're truly Father Ylin? Maybe you hit your head or something."
Reaching toward her back, M struggled to hold up the umbrella above her and Father Ylin. With a humble smile, she brought up the mask that had been hooked onto her backpack. It was a plain wooden mask with red etchings and slits for eyes and a mouth. It was old and ugly.
"This is the Superbia's Mask. It is an artifact of great value. Do you remember it? Maybe you have heard of it? It should at least undo any suspicion you might have of the connection of the images of the wanted posters and the true nature of their subjects."
She was hoping Father Ylin would have at least heard of the mask before. She hated being the focus of anyone's attention, even indirectly, but if it would jog the man's memories, she was glad to sacrifice some comfort.

"And this," said Arx, "is the Shield of Achilles."
Arx, who was using the giant turtle shell as a makeshift umbrella, quickly slammed it against the ground hard enough to shake the ground under their feet before lifting it back up.
"It is the Sacred Treasure of the Virtue of Patience, Arx, and that Arx is I. Do you still not believe us? We are the Virtues, Ylin, weather you believe it or not."
Arx knelt in closer to Ylin, though his eyes remained closed. "And I believe that you are Lian, one of my dear companions. Perhaps it is as M hypothesized. Perhaps you've lost your memory. If that is the case, maybe we need to jar it. But first, what do you think we should do, Ylin?"
