Here is what we could do.
We put the current thread on hiatus and make a new thread/adventure. This thread would take place after the first thread and it would be when the ponies are brand new friends because of the first adventure and they are still getting to know each other, being brand new friends and all. Not all ponies would have to be involved in this thread, like how in the show, certain episodes involve/feature certain protagonists, not all of the Mane 6 all of the time in every single episode. So yes, we could do this, and anyone who is interested would be welcome to join, and not every protagonist would be obligated to participate.

I am really sorry that I fail hard at posting. I really am, I feel terrible about it. If you guys don't mind a slower rate of rotations (2 weeks-ish) and smaller posts, I could keep the thread going. I just have a lot of stuff happening at once lately and I need to get better at time management.
Barring that, I think handing it off to a better poster or making a new thread like Kuro said is a good idea.

SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO I have some ideas on what to do for the next thread, I thought I could show them here to see which one we would like to do. If you guys have suggestions too, i'm all for it, I don't have to run the first thread or maybe you have story ideas and want me to run the thread based off of it, i'm all for anything.
Two celebrities from distant urban lands come into Ponyville, and they are the famous movie stars known as Glory Road and Star Path. They decide to stay in town for a few days as a break from their absolutely amazingly successful movie career, and they demand to be treated as kings during their stay in the homely little rural town of Ponyville. And, surprise surprise, they simply must stay in someone's house as they do so: A shame for whatever poor sap ends up having to temporarily(?) give their home up to the stallions. Can the friends endure this insufferable madness?
Demure was born and raised in Canterlot and thus, he goes back there from time to time for various reasons. This will be the first time that he actually has friends when its time to go attend to some business there, and he has very reluctantly decided to take his friends to the shining capital city. Such a decision couldn't possibly result in destruction and anarchy in Canterlot, right?
Something strange has been going on in the town lately. Graffiti is being spray-painted everywhere, things are being stolen and troubledoings of all kinds are being done all around Ponyville with no one known to be responsible. As the troublemaking rises in frequency and intensity, it might be up to the only ponies in town who ever actually do anything to find the perpetrators and fix and clean up the mess.

I really like this idea because NPC's can often give characters needed direction. However, I feel it could exclude characters if the NPC's react to the same events.
This also gives the characters a lot of direction. Having a situation a character is familiar with but others are unfamiliar with can open a lot of discovery.
This one is probably my favorite. It seems like there would be opportunity for the most character input. The various ponies could all have something vandalized and seek revenge... or try to figure out what happened before a repeat offense.

Just wondering, if the previous thread had revealed our ponies to be Elements of Harmony (which I assume was intended), which Pony would represent which Element?

I don't think that we were intended to have the Elements of Harmony.
LET US VOTE
Elements of Harmony or no? I vote neh, since I like the idea of our ponies being normal citizens and not heroes or special element holders or anything like that, but what do you guys say?

I was expecting it to happen eventually because...well, because that's MLP, but then again I DON'T RUN THIS DOG AND PONY SHOW ANYMORE. I don't really care either way.
Although you have to admit, Cotton needs some old fashioned friendship learnin' like only the elements can give.
