Slight redesign on the logo, may convert back to the old one.

I just noticed the redesign and honestly thought I was seeing things. Nice job.

I'm highly considering adding a minimum post length to several of the boards here. As discussed in the Getting the Word Out thread, people aren't posting in other sections. When they are, however, it sometimes is only a sentence with no weight or explanation. For example, if they did not like a chapter, a post might read: I did not like it. Well, why? If we had 75 to 100 characters per post, we could avoid this problem. This is a suggestion for now but I'd like to get some feedback for it. Unfortunately, I do not know how to make the Random section exempt from this change. If I were to go through with it, I would like that section the way it is.

@ CJ I like that idea, if it'll help people most more significant posts to some of the much needed sections. I think I can also make only certain sections have that role as well. I'll look more into it. Also, forum buttons! CJ, what sections in particular did you want the minimum character count to be in? All of them except the random section?

CJ, honestly I find that rather pointless. If people want to make a short post they will find a way to do so, like back in OPHQ smashing space so that it would appear as just a single space, but ignoring the minimum post length or alternatively just not post at all, which would lower the activity.

I consider it more as a reminder rather than a rule. Just a nudge to encourage people to say more than a single line. At least for now I think we should use it.
I actually HAVE found a working code, I just have to find out how to make the random section an exception. I'll figure it out tomorrow.

CJ, don't you understand? A minimum character limit would ruin the counting thread. At least wait until we've reached 10,000!

CJ, don't you understand? A minimum character limit would ruin the counting thread. At least wait until we've reached 10,000! It is meant for anything, but the spam section so that it wouldn't change anything. Also I tested it out and 75 letters really isn't too long and most of my posts probably are that long anyway so I'm not really that against the limit anymore. Also one feature I'd request is a button that marks all threads as read. It's not a huge deal as there aren't too many threads I don't read, but seeing those flashy lights with new posts makes me click on them and press back anyway so it would just make things slightly more convenient.

@ Mise, there should be a button at the bottom of the forum that looks like this: That'll make all threads as read.

No that marks private messages as read. I've tried it.

The one at the top of the forum makes private messages read. I'm talking about the one at the bottom of the forum. This one: I've tested it, and it does indeed work.
