Number 1: Because people don't like to appear weak to others. In the case of confident types, they have this facade of always being headstrong and sure of themselves, and asking for help would be the same as admitting that they are unsure of what to do. In the case of more introverted types, it is usually because they either dislike excess human contact, or they wish to be more like the aforementioned confident folks who never ask for help.
Number 2: Because drunk people can't spell or think straight. Just because you're thinking more doesn't mean it's something worth thinking about or that others want to know.
I'm a bit pessimistic right now, sorry about that.

I do not know what I am talking about in this post.
Overall, I think that the marvel live-action movies are better. The first Iron Man movie was amazing and while I do not like the second one as much, I will say that the fight scenes LOOK very awesome. Thor and Captain America were good and the Avengers was awesome.
DC movies...Green Lantern was ok. Tim Burton Batman and the other live-action Batman are pretty good. To be honest, I did not watch the Superman movies, so maybe those are the best things ever and I do not know.
The Nolan Batman trilogy (The Dark Knight) is definitely the best out of both categories though by a large margin. In my opinion.

the only thing Marvel beats DC at is the live action movies.
Marvel have built there cinematic universe into a billion dollar franchise where as DC still dont have their own universe and they failed to make Green lantern relevant like Superman and Batman, will they risk making Wonder Woman or Flash movie now? who know but it looks like thur just gonna rush a Batman reboot, tie it into teh upcoming man of steel and then rush Justice League and unless its freaking awesome i doubt a dc cinematic universe will ever happen.
course in saying that I cant wait for the Batman reboot after reading Scott Snyder's Court of Owls stor and then looking at Nolan's movies they are just not Batman. its a guy in a bat suit fighting terrorists not super villains. Nolan took all the fantastical elements out to grind the series in reality and thats just not interesting to me. Where is my Luchadore masked, venom pumping Bane, this dude in the movie looks awful. They should turn the two arkham games into the next Batman movies they are much better.
in comics, Games, animated movies and cartoons though DC kicks marvels ass

Okay, are we talking Marvel Studios films or just Marvel films in general.
If we are talking about Marvel Studios, then we are referring to Iron Man, Iron Man 2, Incredible Hulk, Thor, Captain America: First Avenger, and The Avengers.
For the sake of debating every film, lets only tackle movies that have come out in the last 7 years, beginning with Batman Begins. The only relevant DC movies have been the Batman trilogy. Superman Returns was just not what it could have been and Green Lantern was just god awful. I am looking forward to Man of Steel, even though I am still not sold on Zach Snyder. He can basically direct things that already have a visual (300, Watchmen) but sucks when it comes to his own creativity (Sucker Punch was terrible).
Also, I disagree, Marvel comics are far superior. Sales figures for the past couple of years agree with me.

I'm still waiting for a really good Superman movie.

Marvel are the number 1 comics publisher in america there's no disputing that.
it was just my opinion that DC are better at everything except the live action movies.
I've only been reading comics for a year but so far the DC New 52 has been really good, I'm reading somewhere between 20-30 series.
Justice League, Batman, Batman and Robin, Green Lantern, Earth 2, Batgirl, The Flash, Supergirl, Wonder Woman, Action Comics have all been brilliant books. hell even Aquaman has become an amazing book, Geoff Johns literally worked miracles with this guy.
and on Marvel Amazing Spider-Man is the only book I really enjoy. Dan Slott just makes spidey awesome. Fear Itself was god awful and avengers vs x-men is only slightly better. Wolverine and the X-Men would be better of called Wolverine vs. the X-Men cause he's done nothing but fight against them. Kieron Gillen is just a poor writer and his Uncanny X-men book has been so boring. The best X-Men books is x-men legacy by Gage imo. New Mutants, X-Factor, X-Men, Astonishing are all pretty poor books. Daredevil and Captain America by Waid and Brubaker have been pretty good but their nothing extra special. Thor is just bad i only read the new volumes first arc but holy crap did it suck. Iron man is the one book i havnt looked at but thats cause most of the solicits are about a new iron man and didnt interest me. dont read the avengers books, i plan to start them when Hickman takes over. fantastic four was doing all that human torch death stuff so again i avoided it, plan on looking into whatever comes next for them during marvel now.
Plan on checking out Marvel NOW though. Love Bendis on ultimate spider-man so really wanna see what he can do with the x-men.
I like both companies but for me DC wins in teh comics department
Video Games are again DC win - arkham city and asylum are just the 2 best comic games ever made.
loved the 90s cartoons x-men, spdier-man, batman, superman, then came along justice league and JLU. great days to be growing up.
The 2 are tied the now Green lantern animated sux as does the new ultimate spider-man cartoon but avengers and young justice are good shows. They should cancel ultimate spdier-man and bring back spectacular.
so DC has 1 cartoon more than marvel that i like so again DC wins for me.
the animated movie is an easy win for DC simply because DC have a whole lot more of them than marvel do. Superman: Doomsday, Superman vs. The Elite, Superman/Batman: Public Enemies, Batman Year One great movies.
while marvel has an animated Avengers movie, its sequel sucked and the third movie was the absolute worst adaption of iron man i have ever seen.
Marvel have more sales cause almost all of their books are $3.99 for 20 pages while the majority of DC's books are $2.99 for 20 pages and the ones that are $3.99 at least come with the regular 20 page story and a minimum 8 page backup story. Really annoys me feel like marvel are ripping me off.
both are great companies but the score for me is DC 4 - 1 Marvel funny saying that cause a year ago i woulda rgued you to death that Marvel was better. but i pretty much read, watched and played everything from the two of them over the last year and DC are just the better company for me.
i actually liked the green lantern movie, of course at that time i knew almost nothing about him but what shocked me the most was that the green lantern was WHITE. i had only ever seen the justcie league cartoon which used john stewart instead of hal jordan. they shoudla made the movie about Kyle Rayner.
