With a roll of 813, Captain Stannis was so close to a promotion, but instead recruited a new crew member. However, since the overall crew level is over 50, that means the new person starts out at level 20!
Crew Level - 85
Captain Stannis - Lvl. 35 Private Rose - Lvl. 20 Private Waters - Lvl. 10 Private Badoglio - Lvl. 20

893.
Well, without a navigator, the crew suddenly runs into dangerous waters and gets attacked by giant sea creatures who totally wreck their ship and start an under sea battle!
rolled 67, LUL.
Well, we made it back to shore, but not after John Sparrow lost a leg. He'll need some time to recover.
Captain Hito lvl 30 John Sparrow lvl 20 (Can't attack/level up for 5 turns) Little Pipin lvl 5 (+50 in battle)

With a roll of 910, that means a confrontation, with the most recent pirate poster whom would be Hito. However if I understand correctly, with his one crew member out of commission, that puts out crews at a tie for overall level, so I guess nothing happens.
Crew Level - 85

500.
Former C.E.O Slythe Arkady sets sail! He will amass whatever resources he can find in order to obtain power once again! If he cannot be a corporate king, he will be a pirate king! Only he is worthy of such a title.
18 + 5 = 23
Annnnnnnnd Slythe was not able to enter the Grand Line. All he has is his tattered suit, golden mask, and one pistol. He's got a long ways to go.

In the midst of his unrewarding journey through the seas, Slythe gradually begins to realize a power deep inside him. He could feel something strange coursing through his veins. Of course. It could only be that in such times of hardship, his godliness had become even more manifest. Everyone thought they had defeated him, but no. He would only be reborn!
Unbeknowest to him, his Haki had now been realized.
789
People knowledgable of such a thing called what he had Kenbunshoku Haki. As he pillaged bandit outposts and killed other pirates for sport and pleasure, he could predict all of their moves! He saw each bullet, each sword swipe coming, and not a single soul was ever able to sneak up on him! Since he was, of course, a god on earth, he could see everything around him and was able to sense other's strengths and intents. Truly, this was a step forwards to obtaining true power.
(Kenbunshoku Haki: Automatically win the next land, sea, or sky battle)

A quick sketch I made of ragged Pirate Slythe. I imagine he would go absolutely mad if he was actually reduced to being a mere pirate.

696
After Slythe kills the last of another pirate crew, crushing their naive hopes and dreams under your bloodied heel, he opens up the treasure chest on their boat. One chest? What were they, a crew just starting out on some story of friendship? Whatever their story was, it meant nothing now. There was some gold, nothing much, but what really caught his eye was the devil fruit inside.
He knew enough about these things to recognize that it was one of the fabled objects. Now, just what kind was it?
176
No way to know for him to know without eating it. He hesitated first, but decided that his ability to swim, as glorious a swimmer as he was, had little value compared to the potential ability of this.
Placing his cracked mask upon a nearby crate, he took a bite of the fruit and nearly threw up at its atrocious taste. He would not let something as simple as the taste of a fruit to defy him. He finished it with some more bites and shuddered as it went into his gut.
As he put the mask back on, he wondered just was supposed to happen now. He certainly did not feel any different. Was he supposed to guess at whatever power he had just obtained? He took a step away from the chest to get back to his own ship and felt something grip his ankle. He whirled around to see what foolish little mongrel would dare do such a thing. One of the pirates hadn't died after all. Before the trash could do anything else, Slythe reached for his gun, but not before his silver eyes flared at the dying man for laying his dirty, bloody hand on his dirty, bloody clothes.
The next second, the man's head was no more. It was ash on the wooden floor, a singe mark beneath it and trails of smoke rising from it. The dead man's grip loosened and Slythe took another step back, taking a moment to figure out what had just happened.
A few seconds later, he smiled underneath his golden mask. He pointed his free hand at a wall and with just a thought, a beam of light shot out and went straight through, leaving a perfect circle of a hole in its path, its edges caught on fire and beginning to spread across the wooden ship. It didn't take long for Slythe to start laughing and laughing. Yes...truly, the power of a god.

With a roll of 225, that means a choice of land or sea battle, but Stannis feels that after his crew actually powered down due to a clerical error, a sea battle might not be wise.
So, adding the crew score to the roll makes 300, which results in a victory at land!
Crew Level - 80

Wrath. That was his name. That was what he had been called for so long by those around him. After some years of behavior unspeakable to others, he had been granted the title. It had been intended as an insult to him, but he wore it proudly. He hadn't been born by it, but he would live by it. After all, was it not fitting? No one had ever wronged him without being punished. It was why he had been sent to jail by the marines in his hometown. It was why when he managed to escape, he killed each marine and villager that had been involved in sending him to a cell, turning the town into a bloodbath overnight. He had always been cunning, and that was what counted the most. He was able to punish all of his targets, all of the wrongdoers who had dared to punish him for shooting a man who had challenged his honor. Of course, he had no honor, but the remark was still offensive.
Now what was he? A pirate. They were free of the stifling law, they were free to do whatever they pleased across the seas. He would follow no law but his own.
He would take what he wanted and fulfill his namesake upon any who tried to stop him.
This was his right.
559
It didn't take him long to find someone useful. He had been staying at an inn, but issues arose when he shot the unruly innkeeper for daring to treat him as a lesser being. His lackey had walked in on the bloody scene only a few moments later and simply stood still at the sight. With no fear or any emotion at all in his voice or face, he asked the murderer if he had any intent on hiding the body. They could loot the inn and the innkeeper's belongings afterwards.
The eerily unfeeling villager stated that he had been planning to kill his boss for some time, but had been sneakily seeping the inn's profits first, taking a steady income of money out of the man's pockets behind his back for some time. He asked Wrath where he was planning on going and he admitted that he did not know. The villager told him of a city nearby that might have some business opportunities. They could hide there for a bit. After all, the innkeeper, as grumpy as he was, was a loving and loved man. He had a family and three loving kids. They would never see him again.
Wrath, admittedly a little unsettled by the news and the uncaring way the villager told him it, asked how that didn't matter to the man.
He answered, why should it?
After some more discussion, Wrath convinced the villager to throw away his old name. He was Sloth now, and he would be the first to join him in a life of freedom and power. He agreed almost instantly, although he sounded as if the idea was somewhat boring. They left the town the next day to the sound of a child's wailing.
672
They ran into some trouble on the way. In the seas, a large pirate crew attacked them.
225
As it was only two men with guns against a whole crew of bandits, they had no chance. Or so they thought. They could not kill the entire crew, so escape was their only option. A storm had been raging that night, and in all of the chaos, Wrath and Sloth were able to escape, although not before Wrath managed to shoot some of those that would dare attack him.
Wrath and Sloth were now lost at sea, the former in a furious rage and the latter somewhat irked because he had been shot in the leg at one point in the scuffle.
895
Lost at sea and without resources, it was an actual relief to find a ship coming towards them, especially for the one with a wound that might or might not have been infected. And a merchant ship at that.
94
Unfortunately, the merchants were not without their guards and hired swords. Wrath and Sloth would not be able to overtake this ship anytime soon, so they had to act as if they were not pirates, but merely vagrants lost at sea. It took some convincing from Sloth, but Wrath was able to suck it up.
750
Bounty hunters intercept the ship and check for pirates. They do not recognize Wrath and Sloth as such because they were very new to the whole thing and barely had any bounties at all in one or two towns. The two pirates-in-hiding got out of it with no harm, except perhaps to their egos.
131
Sloth begins to talk with one of the poorer merchants on board during his stay on the ship as a deckhand. He learns that the merchant has not been doing well in his businesses for a very long time and has had to constantly look upon the growing piles of gold of the others on the ship. She talks of how she deserves such success, of how she should have all of the gold the others did. She wanted it, so why couldn't she just have it?
Why didn't she just take it, Sloth asked.
She went on a list of reasons as to how any attempt at betrayal would be stupid and poorly thought out. As Sloth spoke with her on these reasons, he learned that this merchant was much more clever than he. She had several plans to take what should be hers, but could not carry them out due to a lack of allies. But now...
Sloth asked her what her name was. She answered and Sloth was quiet for some time before responding with a different name. One that might suit her more in the days to come.
And so, Envy was found.
One main character, two recruits, all at level 5. Sloth cannot gain exp or level up for 2 more turns. Wrath cannot gain exp or level up for 3 more turns.
