If I'm forgetting any titles, let me know!

So, considering it's only manga referenced in two of the three titles, would this mean that talking about anime isn't as okay or relevant? Or are we just using "manga" as a blanket term?
Voted Critics vs. Manga. "Mangablast," while it is the name of our current community, doesn't exactly say "Analysis! Intelligent commentary!" to me, which I think the title should. And Sweet and Sour reviews kinda makes us sound like we're food critics to me. I like Critics vs. Manga, if we're gonna go with one of those options.

That's why I prefer Sweet and Sour, the other two kind of lock us to manga.
I can't see why we wouldn't do anime, and certainly I'd like to do video games.

I'm also in favor of Sweet and Sour. Like Shark said, it encompasses manga and other media. I think its also more rememberable by guests who stop by the website. It has a better ring to it than something like Manga Vs Critics, which feels more static.
I also don't want guests to get the wrong idea that we're some kind of authorities if we use "Manga Vs Critics", because it could, for some people, make them feel like we are.
Anyway, this is all just my opinion! Majority votes
Edit: also, the poll vanished

If that's the case, then I feel compelled to ask, if even the word "critic" is too authoritative for us, then what reason do others have to spend their time reading our opinions? And you're right, Sweet and Sour could encompass multiple media, in that it includes nothing that we actually do talk about.

Oh, it doesn't sound authoritative to me. I said it could make others think we are authorities.
(EDIT: and the reason sounding authoritative is bad, for now, is because we're just starting out)
Also, sweet and sour includes every possible media, but for us, I think we're just sticking to anime/manga and video games. Maybe movies? Eventually?

Note that I'm not sure if Sweet and Sour is the best idea for a title, it's just that I prefer it to the other two.

Also, if we're not positive, its a great name, perhaps we should hold the poll off a bit longer while we decide and come up with better ideas?
The sweet and sour thing was just a spur of the moment idea.

It should be noted that no matter what the title is, the priority of the website will be manga. But yeah, I could see Anime related video games and stuff being reviewed as well. I plan on reviewing some figurines I'm getting over the next few months.
If you want, we can hold it off. Please come up with ideas though. I'll try to think of some myself. Here are a few now:

Whatever we do I'm fine with but as I said before, it just shouldn't have one kind of media in the name because you lock yourself to that kind of media.
Like if the ideal intent is to create a strictly manga review site, that's fine, but I won't be able to contribute for example.

Like if the ideal intent is to create a strictly manga review site, that's fine, but I won't be able to contribute for example. I get that. However, considering how hand in hand manga and anime are these days, I don't think anyone would be shocked if they suddenly found us talking about anime on the manga site. While the industries are fundamentally different, they both have been linked throughout their history, and this is reflected in the culture surrounding their fandoms. This is also true, to a lesser extent, to video games. And, as CJ established already, the main draw will always be manga, so I see no problem with putting the word in the title. On this subject, I feel I should explain one of the proposed names I put up, Manga Review Calendar. It's a reference to the first anime series aired on television, Otagi Manga Calendar. So it kinda refers to both mediums!

Another idea, stick HQ on the end of any of the ideas we had previously.

So we can't talk about video games or movies then? Because those, unlike anime, ARE fundamentally different from manga. To be on an manga site. Another idea, stick HQ on the end of any of the ideas we had previously. This is the best idea so far.
